WestJet announces service to Windsor, Ontario
WestJet will fly between Windsor and Calgary once a day from May 31 to October 30, 2010. The outbound flight will leave Calgary at 10 a.m. MT and arrive in Windsor at 3:23 p.m. ET. The return flight leaves Windsor at 4:15 p.m. ET and arrives in Calgary at 6:14 p.m. MT, offering easy connections to many western Canadian cities including Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Abbotsford, Vancouver and Victoria.
WestJet offers more Caribbean sun
WestJet recently announced it will begin weekly seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Samana, Dominican Republic, on June 5, 2010. The airline currently serves Punta Cana, Puerto Plata and La Romana with a total of seven non-stop flights per week from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
WestJet will also begin weekly seasonal service between Montreal and Punta Cana on June 5, 2010.
“We are very excited to provide even more service to the Dominican Republic,” said Chris Avery, Vice-President, WestJet Vacations. “Both Bahia Principe and AMHSA Marina Hotels are thrilled to have WestJet and WestJet Vacations servicing Samana. It is a relatively new destination and a rapidly growing part of the Dominican Republic.”
With Samana’s white-sand beaches, cool azure waters and coconut-covered mountains serving as a backdrop, an adventure-filled vacation is waiting to be discovered.

WestJet also announced today details of its new seasonal non-stop service between Toronto and Bermuda. Beginning May 3, 2010, WestJet will offer daily service between Pearson International Airport and Kindley Field, Bermuda.

WestJet adds new routes, expands service on 19 others
WestJet recently unveiled its flight schedule for the summer of 2010, featuring five new routes and expanded service on 19 trans-border and international routes.
The summer schedule also includes new non-stop service between Vancouver and Kitchener-Waterloo, Vancouver and San Francisco, Edmonton and Kamloops, Edmonton and San Francisco, and Toronto and Puerto Vallarta.
Five Canadian cities will see seasonal routes become year-round, including:
- Vancouver to Los Angeles, Puerto Vallarta and Cancun
- Edmonton to Cancun
- Calgary to Phoenix, Palm Springs and Cancun
- Toronto to Atlantic City, Miami, Puerto Plata, Bridgetown, Cayo Coco, Varadero, Turks and Caicos, St. Maarten, St. Lucia and Cancun
- Montréal to Las Vegas and Cancun

WestJet announces service to Bermuda
WestJet recently announced it will begin seasonal non-stop service from Toronto to Bermuda, effective May 2010.
Recently voted as the number one island in the Atlantic and Caribbean region by the prestigious Condé Nast magazine, Bermuda is the fourteenth Atlantic/Caribbean destination for WestJet, which also provides Canadians with non-stop service to Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Cuba, and the Turks and Caicos.
Bermuda is part of WestJet’s expanded schedule for the summer of 2010. More information on the summer schedule, including new destinations, increased frequencies and the sale of service to Bermuda, subject to applicable regulatory approvals, will be available in mid-December.
