How to use WestJet's Mobile check in for your U.S./international flight

You can check in from 24 hours up to 45 minutes prior to departure and send your boarding pass with WestJet's Mobile check in service!

Here are the few easy steps:

Step 1 - Locate reservation

Enter the following information to start your Mobile check in:

1) Enter your First Name, Last Name, and select your Departure City.

Then, enter one of the following:

Reservation Code

OR

Flight Number

Click the Continue button to move onto Step 2.

Step 2 - Guest Information

2A) Select the guest(s) to check in and indicate or confirm each guest type.

If you do not have a seat assignment displayed or would like to change your seat, you will be able to select or change your seat assignment after entering you international travel information.

Click the Continue button to review your itinerary.Step 2 (cont'd) - Guest Information

2B) Review your itinerary.  All flights within the Mobile check in window will be displayed.

Click the Check in or Select/Change Seat button to move onto Step 3.

STEP 3 - International Travel Information

U.S. and international flights require additional travel information for each guest prior to checking in.  For flights to and from the U.S., your country of residence is required.

Enter the required information for each guest.

3A) If you are a U.S. citizen, your passport information is required. For flights into the U.S., WestJet is required to request emergency contact information.

OR

3B) If you are a non-U.S. citizen, your passport information is required. For flights into the U.S., the address of your first night in the U.S. is required.

After international travel information has been completed for all guests checking in, click the Continue button to move onto Step 4.

Step 3 - Select/Change Seat

3) On the seat map, click on an available seat to select the seat.

Click on another guest name to select/change their seat, if applicable.

For connection and same day return flights, click the Next Flight button and choose the seats to be selected/changed.

Click the Check In button to move onto Step 4.

STEP 4 - Check Baggage

Select the number of pieces of checked baggage for each guest with checked baggage.

Click Continue to move onto Step 5.

Step 5 - Thank You

That's it, you are done!

5) You can print your boarding pass at a WestJet self-serve check-in kiosk (select airports only) or see a WestJet Customer Service Agent at the WestJet Self-serve baggage drop at the airport.

WestJet has dedicated Self-serve baggage drop counters in all airports. So if you have baggage to check, just go to the WestJet counter marked 'WestJet Self-serve baggage drop' with your boarding pass handy.

If you do not have baggage to check, please go straight to security.


Remember to bring your boarding pass and passport to the airport at least 90 minutes prior to departure.
