As a corporate partner of Kids Help Phone, WestJet Cares for Kids is expanding the reach of Kids Help Phone through the gift of flight by helping to raise funds and ultimately support more kids who need someone to talk to.

Kids Help Phone is Canada's only toll-free, national, bilingual, phone and web counselling, referral and information service for children and youth between the ages of five and 20. They provide immediate anonymous and confidential support, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

When young people reach out for help, they know they can trust Kids Help Phone - they don't trace calls or IP addresses, or use call display. Staffed by trained professional counsellors with a wide variety of backgrounds including social work, psychology, sociology, and child and youth services, in 2007 Kids Help Phone helped kids in need more than two-million times on the phone and online from almost 3,000 communities across Canada.

No matter what the problem or concern the counsellors are there to provide immediate and caring support, information and referrals to the kids who reach out. Each counsellor has access to a database of more than 37,000 community and social service agencies that allows us to refer kids to services right in their own community.

Helping kids since 1989 Kids Help Phone has grown into one of the country's largest and most respected service providers to youth.
