On-time promise

  1. What is WestJet's on-time service promise for flights between Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and New York (LaGuardia)?

    2. To show our commitment to on-time performance, we promise that:
    - If your flight between Toronto and Montreal or Toronto and Ottawa arrives more than 30 minutes late (or 45 minutes late when travelling between New York and Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa), or is cancelled, we'll give you 50% off your next flight on these routes.
    - If your flight between any of the four cities is cancelled and you cannot travel on your re-accommodated flight, we'll keep the value of your original ticket available for future use with no penalty, plus you'll also receive 50% off your next flight on these routes.

  2. Is the on-time service promise offered on flights operated by WestJet's code-share and interline partners who fly between Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and New York (LaGuardia)?

    3. No. The on-time service promise is available on WestJet operated flights only.

  3. How do I get my discount?

    4. To take advantage of WestJet's on-time service promise on these routes, be sure to always provide your
    9-digit WestJet ID to your travel agent or add it when booking on westjet.com. Within 2 weeks of your flight delay, we will send a 50% off promo code and coupon code to the email linked to your WestJet ID or the email you provided at the time of booking.

  4. My flight was delayed more than 30 minutes (or 45 minutes to/from New York) and I haven't received my discount.

    5. If you travelled more than two weeks ago and were not sent a promo code and coupon code, please fill in this on-time promise form and we'll send you the discount information within 10 business days.

  5. If my flight has been cancelled, how do I receive the value of my ticket?

    6. If you cannot travel on your re-accommodated flight, please notify WestJet or your travel agent that you wish to cancel your reservation and we will waive the cancellation fee for you. The full value of your original ticket will remain available for your future use.
