Create guest profile

At WestJet we want to make your experience the best it can be, including your experience in booking and managing your reservations with WestJet. Here are some tips on things to do before you make a reservation at westjet.com. 

Tip #1: Create a Guest Profile and always use your WestJet ID when booking online at westjet.com.

Using your Profile and WestJet ID to make new reservations on westjet.com puts more control into your hands.  When you create a Guest Profile and use your WestJet ID to make reservations you can:

To create a new Guest Profile, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Create Guest Profile below to go to mywestjet.com
  2. Once on mywestjet.com, locate the Sign up now link on the bottom-left of the page
  3. Click on Sign up now to start the profile creation process.
  4. Watch for an email confirming your WestJet ID.

Note: If you have received an email notification from WestJet at any time after October 17, 2009 that a Travel Bank account has been created in your name, a new Guest Profile has already been created for you.  Please use the WestJet ID and password provided to you in the email to make new bookings and take advantage of the Manage My Reservations features.  If you no longer have your WestJet ID, please contact the WestJet Sales Super Centre at 1-888-WESTJET (937-8538) for assistance.

Tip #2: If using a Visa or MasterCard credit card for payment, ensure your card is activated with Verified by Visa or MasterCard® SecureCode before you proceed with your reservation.

Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode

Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode are credit card security programs designed to make online shopping more secure and protect against unauthorized use of your credit card at online merchants.  If your credit card issuer participates in one of these programs you will be required to set up a password or code that will be used to authorize online payments from your credit card.  If you do not set up this feature with your card prior to booking, you may be prevented from completing your reservation. 

To ensure you move quickly through your booking, we strongly recommend that you set up this feature on your card before initiating the reservation process.
