Kiosk self-serve check-in

When you arrive at the airport, you can visit a self-serve kiosk to check in for your flight, select your seat and print your boarding pass as early as 24 hours before your flight's scheduled departure.

Starting June 6, 2012, you can use a kiosk to choose an earlier flight or prepay excess baggage fees.

If you're travelling within Canada or internationally (excluding the U.S.), head to a self-serve bag tagging kiosk where you can also print your own bag tags for a fast, stress-free check-in experience.

FAQs

When can I check in?

Kiosk check-in is available 24 hours before your flight, right up until 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights or 60 minutes prior for international flights.

Can everybody use a kiosk to check in?

If you made a special service request, you will be able to use a kiosk to check in and select your seat, but you may need to pick up your boarding pass from a WestJet agent at Guest Assistance. This will help us make sure we meet your unique travel needs.

Unaccompanied minors, guests travelling with a personal oxygen cylinder, guests who have purchased an extra seat and guests travelling in a group of more than nine guests with the same last name must check in with a WestJet agent at Guest Assistance.
