WestJet continues to provide new and innovative technology for guest-friendly self-service options to make check in faster and as stress free as possible. If you're travelling within Canada or to an international sun destination (excluding the U.S.) departing from one of the cities listed above, you will notice many new kiosks for you to use at the airports to both check in and print your bag tags.

When you arrive at one of these airports, please visit one of our kiosks and follow this simple two step check in process:

Step 1 – visit a kiosk to print your boarding pass and tag your bags

Step 2 - proceed to bag drop

You can still web check-in and select your seat from the comfort of your own home, then upon arrival at the airport visit one of our kiosks to print and tag your bags.

How to make your self-serve bag tagging check-in experience easier

1. arrive at the airport at least 60-90 minutes prior to your flight
2. proceed to a kiosk and to retrieve your flight information quickly, use your six letter reservation code or insert the payment card you used when making your booking
3. if you checked in and printed your boarding pass at home, just scan your boarding pass at an airport kiosk and select the "check baggage" option
