Regular, flexible and seat sale fares

  • WestJet has NO minimum or maximum stay-over requirements. It’s up to you how long you stay.

  • Fares are quoted on a one-way basis and are subject to change without notice.

  • Our lowest fares are limited and may not be available on all flights.

  • All website fares are subject to change until the purchase and approval of the reservation has been received and completed by WestJet.

  • WestJet fares are charged in either Canadian or U.S. currency. For reservations made on westjet.com, currency will be determined by the originating city of the first flight in a reservation. Flights originating in Canada will be charged in Canadian currency, while flights originating in the United States or an international location will be charged in U.S. currency.

  • Please see taxes, fees and surcharges for information on what is added to your base fare, including details of how fees are calculated for guests with special needs.

  • Your flight reservation may be changed or your fare refunded up to two hours prior to flight time.

  • If you have paid for your reservation using a credit card and wish to use your travel bank credits instead, you may do so – at no charge – by calling our Sales Super Centre at 1-800-581-9499 within 24 hours of making your reservation. Unfortunately, changing the form of payment after 24 hours from the time of booking is not permitted.

  • Changes are subject to any increase in fare.

  • Changes made within 24 hours of the original booking time through our Sales Super Centre are not subject to an exchange fee, but are subject to any increase in fare. We recommend that you contact our Sales Super Centre for any same-day changes required for web reservations made within 24 hours, as changes made through our website will be charged the change fee automatically.

  • Changes made more than 24 hours after the original booking time may be subject to a fee of $50 CAD/USD (plus tax) per person, based on the type of fare being changed.

  • Refunds requested within 24 hours of the original booking time will be made in the original form of payment. Please note: reservations made through westjet.com where more than one form of payment has been used will be refunded in the form of a WestJet travel bank credit. For a full refund in the original form of payment (same day only), please do not request a refund online; contact WestJet at 1-800-581-9499.

  • Refunds requested more than 24 hours after the original booking time may be subject to a $50 CAD/USD fee (plus tax) per person depending on the type of fare being refunded. Any remainder will be refunded in the form of a WestJet travel bank credit. Please note: reservations made through westjet.com where more than one form of payment has been used will be refunded in the form of a WestJet travel bank credit.

  • WestJet travel bank credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Travel bank credits from changes and refunds are redeemable through westjet.com or our Sales Super Centre. However, they are not valid for use on WestJet Vacations bookings or flights connecting to a WestJet Vacations booking.

  • Some promotional fares may have additional fare rules (specified at the time of booking).

  • Guest reservations made online may be changed or fares refunded online.

  • Failure to show up for the first flight on a reservation, or failure to complete a round-trip or multi-segment reservation, will result in all remaining segments being cancelled, and the fares, fees, charges, surcharges and taxes paid for the reservation will not be refunded or made available for future reservations.
