Why use WestJet Vacations for your group?
- We accommodate travel from multiple locations and dates (based on the available scheduled flights for the requested departure cities).
- Your flights, hotel and airport transfers are included in one booking.
- We offer group packages to Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas (Nassau), Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Costa Rica (Liberia), Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Las Vegas, Mexico, St. Lucia, and Turks and Caicos.
- Book 15 guests and your next guest, number 16, is free (excluding Las Vegas), up to a maximum of two free guests. Some restrictions apply.
Deposit and final payment information:
- WestJet Vacations requires a $200 deposit per guest at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-creditable in the event of a cancellation.
- Full payment and all guest names are due 60 days before the departure date. Bookings will be cancelled if not paid in full by this date.
- A finalized version of your travel documents (rooming list and itinerary) will be issued once all guest names have been received.
- When the WestJet Vacations Group department is advised that there is no more inventory all names are due within 24 hours of notification and no name changes are permitted.
WestJet Vacation Groups accepts the following forms of payment:
- American Express
- Discover and Diners Club International cards
- Visa and Visa debit
Please note: cash, WestJet dollars, WestJet Travel Bank credits and WestJet gift certificates are not accepted for payment.
- Package pricing is for leisure travel only, not for convention or conferences. Hotels have the right to charge the convention or conference rate to WestJet Vacations. WestJet Vacations will not be responsible for any additional charges enforced by the hotel.
- Terms and conditions may vary from supplier to supplier.
Changes and cancellations
- All changes and cancellations must be made by calling WestJet Vacations Groups during business hours.
- Changes are permitted up to 45 days before departure at a cost of $75 per person plus any difference in package pricing, supplier rates and charges. If you have selected a lower priced package, the remaining balance will be refunded to the original form of payment.
- Please note that some suppliers do not accept name changes or corrections.
- Changes cannot be made if the hotel does not have inventory and downgrades are not permitted.
- Name changes are permitted up to 21 days before departure for no fee; subject to hotel approval. Name changes are not permitted less than 21 days before departure.
- Changes in group size/attrition: You may release up to 20 per cent of your group without penalty up to 60 days before departure. The deposit will be applied towards the balance of your group booking as long as the group maintains a minimum of 10 rooms.
- A change of property is treated as a cancellation.
- Cancellations are permitted up to 60 days before departure and may result in a loss of deposit and supplier fee (if applicable).
- Missed flights or unused package components are non-refundable and non-creditable. We strongly recommend travel insurance.
Carry-on and checked baggage
- Complimentary block seating towards the rear of the cabin will be reserved once full payment is received. If you would like to select a specific seat, the regular seat selection fees will apply. Seat selection becomes free of charge 24 hours to 60 minutes before scheduled departure when using web, mobile or kiosk check-in (excluding seats in Plus).
- Group guests are able to use self-serve web, mobile or kiosk (select airports only) check in; except group bookings that have more than nine guests with the same last name.
