Regular Fares, Flexible Fares, and Seat Sale Fares

WestJet has NO minimum or maximum stay over requirements.
Fares are quoted on a one-way basis and are subject to change without notice. Seats at the lowest fare are limited and may not be available on all flights.
All website fares are subject to change until the purchase and approval of the reservation has been received and completed by WestJet.
WestJet fares are charged in either Canadian or US currency. For reservations made on westjet.com, currency will be determined based on the originating city of the first flight in a reservation. Flights originating in Canada will be charged in Canadian currency, and flights originating in the United States or from an international location will be charged in US currency.
Fares can be changed or refunded up until two hours prior to flight time.
Changes are subject to any increase in fare.
Changes made on the same day of booking through our Call Centre (i.e. within 24 hours of the original booking time) are not subject to an exchange fee, but are subject to any increase in fare. We recommend that you contact our Call Centre for any same day changes required for web reservations made within 24 hours, as changes made through our website will be charged the change fee automatically.
Changes made after the day of booking(i.e. more than 24 hours after the original time) may be subject to a fee of $50 CAD/USD (plus tax) per person, based on the type of fare being changed
Refunds made on the same day of booking (i.e. within 24 hours of the original booking time) will be refunded to the original form of payment. (Please note: reservations made and refunded through westjet.com where more than one form of payment has been used will be refunded to a WestJet Travel Bank credit. For a full refund to the original form of payment, please do not refund the reservation online; contact WestJet at 1-888-WESTJET (937-8538)).

WestJet Travel Bank credits are valid for 12 months from the date of creation. Travel Bank credits from changes and refunds are redeemable through westjet.com or our Call Centre; however they are not valid for use on WestJet Vacation bookings or flights connecting to a WestJet Vacation booking.
Some promotional fares may have additional fare rules (specified at the time of booking).
Guest reservations made online may be changed or refunded online.
Failure to show up for the first flight on a reservation, or failure to complete a round trip or multi-segment reservation, will result in all remaining segments being cancelled and the fares, fees, charges, surcharges and taxes paid for the reservation will not be refunded or made available for future reservations.

Bereavement Fares

Bereavement fares are only booked through our Call Centre at 1-888-WESTJET (937-8538). We will ask for some general information at the time of booking, and may call if additional information is required. Please note these special fares are only available through the Call Centre.
WestJet offers bereavement fares on every flight to those travelling due to a death in their immediate family. These fares offer maximum flexibility with no fees.
Please note that although our bereavement fares are lower than our regular last-minute fares, we sometimes offer last minute sales, and the flight you require may be available at a lower fare than our bereavement fares. We encourage guests to look for these sales on our website. Please keep in mind that most sale fares will incur a change fee as well as any increase in fare.
