I will return for my tenth stay at CSA this December. The location and beach are beautiful. The grounds are covered with palms and the serpentine pathways through the greenery belies the fact that there are a lot of people on the site. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always look forward to meeting staff members who have been at CSA since my first visit. They still remember me. I enjoy the whole experience from socializing over a breakfast of whatever I feel like eating, to the scuba diving on a beautiful new boat. The dive staff is experienced and makes every dive fun and safe for beginners as well as interesting for experienced divers. I enjoy the casual luxury of the place, with no need to dress up in the evenings and the staff being friendly and helpful while not intruding on the experience. The weight room is first class and accommodates the casual work out to some very heavy lifting. Donovan, the supervisor, is a knowledgeable quiet man who can give every assistance with your workout or answer any questions you may have about your fitness plan. Donovan, thanks for helping me to my heaviest lifts while working with you in Jamaica. I enjoy the wide variety of food and have never gone hungry at CSA !!! The tennis courts are well kept and tennis is part of what makes CSA a destination resort. Night life is as varied as the menu, from piano bar to the house band led by the talented Lincon, to visiting singers and performers. Every night different and enjoyable. The rooms are simple, clean spacious. Hats off to Couples Swept Away, my happy place.

We took our Honeymoon at Couples Swept Away in Negril Jamaica and it was a week to remember. The facility offered everything from health and fitness, luxury spa, night life, entertainment, water and beach activities, excursions, and relaxation. It was a wonderful mix of romance, fun and socializing. The age groups was from 20's to 50's and all guests we met were enjoying their stay. We never heard a single couple with a complaint about the facility. The beach is clean, well groomed and warm as a bath tub. There is drink service to the beach and lots of lounge chairs and floaters for the ocean. If you are looking for a tan there's tons of room but lots of shade for those who prefer to read or just relax. The many restaurants offered wonderful flavours and variety every day. You were never tired of the large buffet but you still had great options for al a cart with the other restaurants. There are two finer dining al a cart restaurants so bring at least two nice outfits so you can celebrate in style. There is limited beef choices but tons of chicken, fish, seafood, pork and vegetarian options. We also participated in the private dinner on the beach (for an additional fee) and loved the evening would recommend to all. The staff were amazing and the hospitality flowed as well as the free drinks. There was never a request they didn't try to accommodate and they never met you without a smile. We met many guests that were return visitors and we will definitely join the group of repeaters. A Honeymoon to remember. Thank you to Couples Swept Away and Westjet Vacations!

An extraordinary staff, always eager and well disposed to help. The sports and spa facilities are excellent and the best in Jamaica. For an all inclusive, it is very satisfying that they don't cut corners, the food is 5 star, excellent quality liquor, bar service, even on the beach!! The long beach and the crystal clear water was a perfect scene. Great entertainment, morning and evening at the Palms, great effort put out by the entire staff to stage the Friday night Beach party. Even at 98% capacity, the layout and facilities are such that you never feel crowded, never fighting for a good spot on the beach. Was our second time back, going back next year with friends. Thank you swept away for another wonderful experience. Anthony and Mary

Couples Swept Away was a perfect honeymoon! It was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of pools to find a quite spot, wasn't too big of a resort, not too busy, no big party groups there, activities aimed at couples & honeymooners were a lot of fun. Location was good - 1.5hrs away from airport. Most off resort activities required a little drive - horseback riding only 20mins away. Zipline, however, was about a 2hr drive. Downtown shopping area only a 10min drive if you wanted to buy coffee or booze off resort (we did, big savings). Staff very laid back and easy going. It's a no-tipping, no-cash resort, which is nice, but takes the bartering out of the equation if you're into that. We would go back, for sure. There was an issue to sewer smells on the resort throughout our stay. Might of been related to Hurricane Sandy that was the week before. There was also 2 male bathrooms I noted to have their floor drains back up. Might be an issue that's resolved now, but the smell wasn't pleasant.

We have travelled for years and have stayed at numerous all inclusives in Mexico as well as the Dominican Republic and Cuba. We have also tried top notch cruises and have found Couples Swept away by far the best. First of all the beach - the beach is amazing and goes on for miles. Than there is the staff - who were all extremely welcoming. As to the food, it was very good and the selection of liquors varied and top notch. The exercise facility alone is worth the trip with a lap pool, tennis courts as well as tennis clinics, yoga, pilates, jogging track, basketball court and on and on it goes. All activities are included - water skiing, a sunset cruise, snorkelling in either day light or at night. You can't fit it all in in just a short week. We have already decided to return. Next year we will forgo the beach front verandah suite- as all the rooms are nice -and spend the money on a longer stay.

My wife & I spent two amazing weeks at Couples Swept Away in Negril in Aug 2011. We have never seen a beach so beautiful or water so crystal blue in our lives. The staff at CSA were truly amazing, always smiling & always willing to offer advice or assistance if needed. The Hotel grounds were great, very tropical & lush, the work out facilities were by far the best we?ve ever experienced at a hotel. The restaurants were very good & offered a wide variety of dining options. If I had to pick one thing that put Couples Swept Away above any other hotel we stayed at in the past it would have to be all the inclusions. Everything from catamaran cruises & scuba diving to the strict no tipping policy truly helped make our holiday one of the most relaxing getaways we?ve ever been on!

We got back from CSA a week long vacation over April break and it was very relaxing. We arrived in Montego Bay and booked the Mobay Club (A MUST during vacation weeks) it was perfect, when you get off your plane in Montego Bay they whisk you through immigration and you don't have to stand in any log lines the enjoy a cocktail and food before they pick you up for your transfer (top notch idea and WORTH the money). We had about a 80 min ride to our resort, the ride was interesting but it was nice to see different parts of the western area of the island this was our first time to Jamaica it was just fabulous. When we arrived to our resort our room wasn't ready yet 2:00 but that was okay as we just changed in the bathrooms and went straight to a restaurant to get something to eat and drink. The beach was just amazing we have been to a ton of other islands and this beach hands down was the best we had ever encountered. The water was calm for the most part, bluest blue, and white sandy beach just perfect. The peddlers on the beach are not that bad either they will bother you for the first two days or so but once you deny them they will remember and leave you along, the singers on the beach were the best. Mr. Ice Box Rocks! We stayed in a Beach Front Verandah 2nd floor it was nice to be right on the beach and worth the extra money to be able to look out at it every morning and have coffee. Rooms were very clean. The only complaint I would have is that housekeeping came a bit late in the day about the time we wanted to come back to our room and get out of the sun for a bit. The grounds guys did a great job (as they won dept of the year when were were there)! Our wifi worked in our room to so we were able to keep in touch with our daughter on a daily basis in the privacy of our own room. Restaurants were great, Lemongrass was our favorite but the Palms had a wonderful buffet and the breakfast was just to die for we ate way to much but that is what you do on vacation:) All the Bars were great "dirty banana" was my favorite drink bar staff was wonderful and I wish I could remember all of your names. Piano Bar was AWESOME they have a wonderful staff that keep you entertained Ultimate Chocolate is great and really gets everyone involved, you know who you are "Boston" & "Guitar Chris", "England and England" (this is Maine)! You must go! Also the staff really tries to get you to get up and move Lara Lee was awesome at that very pleasant girl. Most staff is nice and friendly but remember you are in Jamaica and they don't move as fast as us Americans so "no problem mon":) Just relax when you are there. ALSO don't believe anybody when they say don't go off the premises as it is crime ridden, NOT TRUE, not any worse than going into one of our american cities or redneck towns for that matter. Walk up and down the beach and take a cab ride into down town and experience the culture, go to Rick's Cafe (another must). If you call yourself a traveler then think outside of the box, life it to short to be up tight and complain about everything. The Jamaicans are awesome I would live there if I could. Till we meet again CSA and Negril! RESPECT!

First thing, as the title says, this resort has the best beach of any resort I have EVER stayed at. I have been to Oahu, Hi, all over Mexico, DR, Bahamas, etc and I always had to go offsite to find this kind of beach. This resort has it onsite! The sand is sugar white and soft. The water is calm and crystal clear. Amazing. The only thing that would have made this beach perfection is if there were no vendors. However, this is a public beach that anyone can walk on. That said, I even used the vendors for an awesome parasailing ride. Peaceful and beautiful. Note the same vendors are there all day every day, but they won't harass you at all. They won't come up to your chair either to sell anything. They only approach you when you walk along the water. Politely decline and they will leave you alone. Overall, enjoyed all the restaurants/grills, with least favorite being buffet, just because I don't like buffet. Wonderfully sized portions that were thankfully S hole serving and allowed to enjoy multiple courses without wasting food. Felt tropical with all the foliage and symphony of frogs, crickets. My husband wants to move in! We will definitely be back. Good service, good people. Very relaxing! Tips: 1. Feathers reservation dinner: bring a shawl or sweater its indoors and chilly. Men bring slacks they do not budge on this one. This is the only truly enforced pants dining. 2. Do the snorkeling they have some surprisingly good reefs in Negril. 3. Bug repellent. You're outside, on a beach. You will get bit. Do yourself a favor and spray yourself. This happens every where not just here. 4. Try to see something offsite. The resort has so many comforts, but you really should do a cruise or excursion just to see Negril/Jamaica. 5. The resort includes tips, but if you go offsite expect to tip bus drivers, boat crew, tour guides, etc. it's part of the travel industry, they work hard for it.

We have been to a few places in the Caribbeans but this was our first time in Jamaica. We stayed at Couples Swept Away in April 23-28. We recently just came back from our trip and are already planning on going back. We stayed at the atrium suite and absolutely loved it. We were one of the youngest guests there (late 20s). Many people are in there 40s, 50s and 60s but that didn't bother us. The journey to the hotel from the airport took over an hour ( approximately 1hr 30-45mins). It was a long trip but totally worth it. We didnt have any complains with the driver nor the drive there. Once we got to the hotel, we were given a cold towel and a glass of champaign. Check in was easy. The only complaint was that we got in so early so we had to wait until our room was ready (check in is at 4pm). There was a group of people that came in at the sametime and they were given there room keys/cards prior to ours. Waited for 2 hrs and was told if we wanted, we could go down to the restaurants and grab something to eat. We ended up just staying at the lobby since we felt uncomfomfortable leaving our valuables to the front (even though we were told by the front desk it was safe). We felt it was a little unfair that many of the people got their keys/cards before the actual check in and we had to wait for 2 hrs. ROOM: The room was fine. No complaints there. Atrium suites included a hammock which was nice. Not the most luxurious room but you get that tropical feel. Windows are shutters so every little noise you can hear. Every room including a king size bed with a mini fridge stocked everyday. They give you a list of what you want including a bottle of rum, gin, wine (red/white) and juices. You also have a choice of ordering room service (breakfasts only) but we actually prefered going out to the restaurants. Many people complained about the road noise but we hardly heard any. The only noise we heard was coming from the Palms restaurant maybe once or twice throughout the week we stayed and the animals surrounding the room. RESTAURANTS: They have many selections of restaurants including the Palms which offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. No reservations/dress code needed. The only reservations needed is the Lemongrass and Feathers which we did not go. Cabana Grill was our all time favorite. We went there everyday for lunch and ordered their greek salad and jerk chicken. It cannot be missed. Seagrape Cafe was alright and so was Patois (leasts favorite). We went to Patois once and service there was horrible. We waited until the hostess was done having a conversation with her friend to finally give us a seat. Once we got seated down and had ordered food, it took 45mins to arrive. We didn't understand why it took so long for the food to arrive since there wasn't a lot of people there. But nevertheless, when we finally did get our food. It was delicious. FOOD: Every food we have tried at the hotel was amazing. I don't think there was a single complain from the both of us. SERVICE: Service here is 50/50. There are times where we got really good service and other times so poor. There was some energetic people and there some people that looked like they were having a miserable time. I do have to complement some of the water sports guys. They sure do a good job enteraining there guests. WATERSPORTS: you can choose from a variety of sports all included in your stay. Catamaran, snorkeling, paddle boards, glass bottom boat, etc. We signed up for catamaran and ended up backing out at the last min. I hear all the talk of how great it was but it was basically like a party bus. We did try snorkeling, paddle boards and glass bottom boat during our stay which was fun. The only down fall was that we booked snorkeling at 3pm which was a bad idea so try to book the earliest time if possible. IMPORTANT: BOOK these activities early as possible as it gets filled fasts. BEACH: The beach was absolutely stunning. No complaints there. Our only complains was that there was a lot of vendors selling you a variety of stuff (hats, bracelet, parasailing, weed) but a simple "no thank you" will do. Make sure to get up early in the morning to save your chairs as it gets filled fasts by 10am. We learn that the second day we were there. The flag system was nice. We had stayed at another resort in the Caribbeans and did not have that kind of system nor that service. We also liked that we could use the chair mats as a floating device so that was also another plus. OVERALL: Thank you CSW for for a wonderful stay. Our first time in Jamaica was a memorable one.
