I will return for my tenth stay at CSA this December. The location and beach are beautiful. The grounds are covered with palms and the serpentine pathways through the greenery belies the fact that there are a lot of people on the site. Staff are friendly and helpful. I always look forward to meeting staff members who have been at CSA since my first visit. They still remember me. I enjoy the whole experience from socializing over a breakfast of whatever I feel like eating, to the scuba diving on a beautiful new boat. The dive staff is experienced and makes every dive fun and safe for beginners as well as interesting for experienced divers. I enjoy the casual luxury of the place, with no need to dress up in the evenings and the staff being friendly and helpful while not intruding on the experience. The weight room is first class and accommodates the casual work out to some very heavy lifting. Donovan, the supervisor, is a knowledgeable quiet man who can give every assistance with your workout or answer any questions you may have about your fitness plan. Donovan, thanks for helping me to my heaviest lifts while working with you in Jamaica. I enjoy the wide variety of food and have never gone hungry at CSA !!! The tennis courts are well kept and tennis is part of what makes CSA a destination resort. Night life is as varied as the menu, from piano bar to the house band led by the talented Lincon, to visiting singers and performers. Every night different and enjoyable. The rooms are simple, clean spacious. Hats off to Couples Swept Away, my happy place.

We took our Honeymoon at Couples Swept Away in Negril Jamaica and it was a week to remember. The facility offered everything from health and fitness, luxury spa, night life, entertainment, water and beach activities, excursions, and relaxation. It was a wonderful mix of romance, fun and socializing. The age groups was from 20's to 50's and all guests we met were enjoying their stay. We never heard a single couple with a complaint about the facility. The beach is clean, well groomed and warm as a bath tub. There is drink service to the beach and lots of lounge chairs and floaters for the ocean. If you are looking for a tan there's tons of room but lots of shade for those who prefer to read or just relax. The many restaurants offered wonderful flavours and variety every day. You were never tired of the large buffet but you still had great options for al a cart with the other restaurants. There are two finer dining al a cart restaurants so bring at least two nice outfits so you can celebrate in style. There is limited beef choices but tons of chicken, fish, seafood, pork and vegetarian options. We also participated in the private dinner on the beach (for an additional fee) and loved the evening would recommend to all. The staff were amazing and the hospitality flowed as well as the free drinks. There was never a request they didn't try to accommodate and they never met you without a smile. We met many guests that were return visitors and we will definitely join the group of repeaters. A Honeymoon to remember. Thank you to Couples Swept Away and Westjet Vacations!

An extraordinary staff, always eager and well disposed to help. The sports and spa facilities are excellent and the best in Jamaica. For an all inclusive, it is very satisfying that they don't cut corners, the food is 5 star, excellent quality liquor, bar service, even on the beach!! The long beach and the crystal clear water was a perfect scene. Great entertainment, morning and evening at the Palms, great effort put out by the entire staff to stage the Friday night Beach party. Even at 98% capacity, the layout and facilities are such that you never feel crowded, never fighting for a good spot on the beach. Was our second time back, going back next year with friends. Thank you swept away for another wonderful experience. Anthony and Mary

Couples Swept Away was a perfect honeymoon! It was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of pools to find a quite spot, wasn't too big of a resort, not too busy, no big party groups there, activities aimed at couples & honeymooners were a lot of fun. Location was good - 1.5hrs away from airport. Most off resort activities required a little drive - horseback riding only 20mins away. Zipline, however, was about a 2hr drive. Downtown shopping area only a 10min drive if you wanted to buy coffee or booze off resort (we did, big savings). Staff very laid back and easy going. It's a no-tipping, no-cash resort, which is nice, but takes the bartering out of the equation if you're into that. We would go back, for sure. There was an issue to sewer smells on the resort throughout our stay. Might of been related to Hurricane Sandy that was the week before. There was also 2 male bathrooms I noted to have their floor drains back up. Might be an issue that's resolved now, but the smell wasn't pleasant.
We loved it and are already planning our return!!

We have travelled for years and have stayed at numerous all inclusives in Mexico as well as the Dominican Republic and Cuba. We have also tried top notch cruises and have found Couples Swept away by far the best. First of all the beach - the beach is amazing and goes on for miles. Than there is the staff - who were all extremely welcoming. As to the food, it was very good and the selection of liquors varied and top notch. The exercise facility alone is worth the trip with a lap pool, tennis courts as well as tennis clinics, yoga, pilates, jogging track, basketball court and on and on it goes. All activities are included - water skiing, a sunset cruise, snorkelling in either day light or at night. You can't fit it all in in just a short week. We have already decided to return. Next year we will forgo the beach front verandah suite- as all the rooms are nice -and spend the money on a longer stay.

My wife & I spent two amazing weeks at Couples Swept Away in Negril in Aug 2011. We have never seen a beach so beautiful or water so crystal blue in our lives. The staff at CSA were truly amazing, always smiling & always willing to offer advice or assistance if needed. The Hotel grounds were great, very tropical & lush, the work out facilities were by far the best we?ve ever experienced at a hotel. The restaurants were very good & offered a wide variety of dining options. If I had to pick one thing that put Couples Swept Away above any other hotel we stayed at in the past it would have to be all the inclusions. Everything from catamaran cruises & scuba diving to the strict no tipping policy truly helped make our holiday one of the most relaxing getaways we?ve ever been on!
Yea mon, it's amazing!!

Negril was a trip that we will not forget! The people, the beaches, the water, the SMILES!! They have a way of life that we all should consider in the way that they are so relaxed and are so happy!! The beaches and water were like those that you see in the corona commercials!! The red stripe cold and always ready for you!! We fell in love with the jerk chicken so much that when we got home... We went and bought a smoker to make our own little piece of JAMAICA!! We will be back... Oh yea mon!!!

We honeymooned at Couples Swept Away in May! We really enjoyed our time here. We stayed nearly a week. When you first arrive in Montego Bay, the resort has a nice lounge and Red Strip beer on tap. This was a great way to begin honeymooning in Jamaica! Once we arrived at the Couples the staff was very attentive and was able to accommodate our special request. We found the grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The staff was absolutely wonderful!! I must say that they pamper you better than you have ever been before. It was such a peaceful feeling to listen to the staff sing all about the resort as they effortlessly did their work. It seemed as if they were always happy. We wanted for nothing. We enjoyed the Palms restaurant the most. The buffet there was top notch. If you have never tried smoked marlin it’s fabulous. We also thought the Lemongrass above the Palms first class. I just can’t say enough how accommodating the staff was nearly everywhere on the resort. We did find however that Patois Patio to be substandard compared to the rest of the resort. The staff there did not seem nearly as happy as the rest of them. The food was not very good either. Feather’s is supposed to be the best they have to offer. We did not agree. The restaurant is completely closed to the outside and is a little dreary. The food there was just ok. I would definitely make a 2nd reservation for Lemongrass. The best dinning experience we had was our “Private Beach Dinner”. This was the best experience I have ever had, anywhere. We were the only dinner scheduled that night which made it even more private and romantic. If you choose this upgrade I would definitely ask how many others are scheduled at the same time as yours. We saw on other nights as many as 4. The entertainment was very pleasant. The beach bars had excellent service. The bartenders Marlene and Tina were exceptionally accommodating and very friendly! With all the day time fun to be had, it was difficult to stay up late for the night club. We did find the after dinner entertainment at the Palms to be enjoyable and accommodated our early bed time. We selected a first floor Beachfront Veranda Suite. Our suite was just perfect. It steps right out to the beach, which we absolutely loved. The housekeepers were exceptional. The turn down service was very comforting, almost like your mother tucking you in. After a long day, it was nice to have fresh towels (which are always plentiful) and your room straightened up and sand free. Couples Swept Away all in all was everything we hoped for. We waited 16 years and 2 children later to get married and to take this awesome honeymoon. I do, however, have one very big complaint. The name of the resort is “Couples” Swept Away. We specifically looked for a resort that offered us the intimacy of “couples” only and not just adults only. It was extremely disheartening to find out that it is not exclusive to “couples”, only that there be pairs. I do understand that the resort generates an obscene amount of money from wedding parties, but it destroys the romance of being couples. There were several large wedding parties which hooted and hollered. They turned the “romantic” bonfire into a bachelor party and continued this rude behavior throughout our stay. It does not seem appropriate for singles who wish to party to come to a “couples” resort. I highly encourage you to ask about how many of these weddings are scheduled if you are looking for a romantic getaway. It would have ruined our honeymoon entirely had we allowed it to. The wedding/ bachelor parties really put a stain on out stay. We will still be back! It was awesome! Next time, I will know what questions to ask so that we may have a more intimate experience.

We stayed in an Atrium room that was in building 25 on the main floor. The room was amazing and we were able to see the ocean from our patio. The beds are comfortable and the dￃﾩcor is very relaxing and natural. The property is beautiful with lots of trees, and the beach of course is spectacular! Lots of watersports activities, the entertainment staff was great and kept everyone engaged. Anthony and the dive team at the scuba are fun, knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend going diving. The food was good at all the restaurants with great variety. My only criticism was the Circus night entertainment show. It was terrible! This resort is very romantic.

As stated in many of the previous reviews CSA does not disappoint. We had an enjoyable but more importantly a very very relaxing stay. We traveled with three other couples one of which who had been here several times prior and spoke very highly of CSA. Check in was a breeze, we got there around 1:00 and our room was not ready but no worries, we went and had lunch by the beach and then had our luggage delivered & shown our room then off to the beach. The beach & grounds are well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. We had a Garden Veranda room which was both spacious & spotless along with a large veranda that was a great spot to have breakfast in the morning. The food was very good and you could have anything from a burger to a seafood dinner. The drinks were always there when needed although the Jamaicans could learn a thing or two on making a good Irish coffee:) The dinners at Patio's, Feathers & Lemon Grass were delicious and the ambiance very relaxing. The evening entertainment was varied with everything from local bands to a bonfire on the beach, very romantic. During the day you had plenty of options to keep you busy if you are in to that. We were more than happy to indulge in the snorkeling several times & the catamaran trip was is a must. The staff was very friendly, attentive more than happy to answer your questions but not intrusive. In short if you want to go somewhere as a couple and not be hurried this is the place. Will we be going back? Absolutely!

Stayed at CSA May 14-21 2016 the guests while we were there were mostly American with some Canadians and a few Europeans. We arrived at Montego Bay 6:30pm, the Couples resort has a guest services reception desk at the airport where we could check in, drop our luggage and waited in the Mobay lounge for our transportation to the resort. The ride to the resort took about 90min, not much to see since it was dark and rainy. At the resort the check-in was quick and easy, it was completed before I could even finish my welcoming champagne. We booked a beachfront room although on the 2nd floor of 3 floors we were not disappointed (room 4218 in building 44). The rooms have a very tropical feel, the cabinetry and trim is wood, floor tiled, the furniture bamboo. The bathroom (in our room) is fully enclosed with a full door. The bed is king size, sheets and blankets are all cotton, large comfortable pillows. The fridge was not stocked when we arrived which was a little disappointing since knowing we were going to arrive late I had registered on the Couples website where there’s an option to preorder your minibar. To order your minibar or continental breakfast fill out the form and hand it on your door knob by 1am, we never had a problem receiving our order. The grounds are very well kept there was always someone sweeping walkways, trimming trees and organizing the sun loungers. The beach is one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean it rivals Punta Cana and Varadero. Not a lot of shade at the beach, there are very few palapas and they are claimed quite early (4am), there is some shade around the trees but it’s sparse. The swimming area is roped and runs the full length of the property, lots of room for swimming. Dining, although the food was good we expected more variety and quality, we were disappointed. Palms the main buffet offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with a mix of caribbean and north american foods. Patois is a table service restaurant no reservations required open for breakfast and dinner. Ate there twice food was good not great, my lamb chops were very undercooked. Found this restaurant to be quite loud probably because of the vaulted ceilings and the bar/nightclub located nearby. Lemongrass, the Asian inspired restaurant was excellent, reservations are required but well worth it. Feathers, looked at the menu was not impressed did not make a reservation. Cabana grill, open for lunch and from midnight to 6:30am. All food is made to order so there is a wait. Very good jerk chicken and grilled fish sandwich. Seagrapes, vegetarian open for lunch recommend the fish tacos. Activities….we’re not much for participating there’s a lot to do if you want, a full list of activities is posted every day. One of the main reasons for going to CSA was because of the diving, they have a great crew of dive masters. Christopher ‘Shaggy’, Super Cooper and everyone else at the dive centre is fantastic. I had my open water certification when I went to the resort but required a refresher course since it’s been several years since I last went diving, course was $50USD. My husband convinced me to upgrade my qualifications to advanced open water while we were there and it was well worth it ($260USD). Was able to do 7 dives while at the resort my deepest at 33 meters. Final thoughts: •The staff are fabulous, helpful, courteous, I was always greeted with a good morning or hello. •Tipping…..this resort does not require tipping and I never felt pressured to tip, having said that the staff will accept tips. •Go to the orientation it’s held every day at 10am and 5pm it’s where you’ll learn all about the resort •Don’t get a first floor room there’s no privacy, there’s a sidewalk that runs in front of every building from there you can see into the room, keep your drapes drawn. •There is a small library beside the martini bar probably books left by other guests but if like me you finish your books early there’s at least something to read. •The beach vendors are pushy but it’s their living, constantly trying to get your attention while some will respect a no thank you others can be aggressive. •When you leave the resort for a walk on the beach security will ask your name and room number, I’m assuming it’s so someone will come looking for me if I don’t return. •Most buildings are open air, the gym, Patois, Palms and the lobby these buildings are cooler than outside but definitely warm. •The smell of pot is everywhere, it’s the guests who are using from early morning to late at night. •There are a lot of cats at the resort, while not wild they are definitely not house cats. There is also a dog who roams the beach and resort, he’s very friendly and likes bacon.
