Kick back and relax in Cuba
Cuba is a much-loved resort destination, and for good reason. Clear blue waters, pristine white-sand beaches and palm trees swaying in the breeze make a fantastic backdrop for all-day lounging and relaxation. It’s no secret that when it comes to rest and relaxation, this is the place to go. However, there are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore the area, including horseback riding, scuba diving and sailing. Visitors can get to know Cuba’s rich history by paying a visit to Havana, where they can tour colonial buildings and monuments while spotting vintage American cars zipping by. Guests can also tour a Cuban cigar factory to learn more about how some of the world’s best cigars are made.
Our Cuban vacation destinations include:
- Cayo Coco: This island is perhaps best known for its high-end luxury resorts and thriving nightlife. Guests can embark on bird-watching tours and snorkelling adventures, or visit Parque Natural El Bagá for a chance to hold a live crocodile.
- Cayo Santa Maria: In this relatively new yet secluded resort spot, visitors can explore lagoons, mangrove forests and colourful coral reefs. Guests can also venture out to nearby Santa Clara to admire the city’s colonial, neoclassical and postmodernist architecture.
- Holguin: Located close to a number of hotels and resorts, this city offers visitors an authentic taste of Cuban life. Visitors can stroll the city’s many public squares or visit its museums to learn more about the area’s background.
- Varadero: In this resort-packed town, there are accommodations to suit all types of travellers, from large groups of friends and families with young children to couples and honeymooners. Beaches spanning 20 km means plenty of relaxation, while day-trippers will be pleased to note that Havana is only a two-hour drive away.
