I come in with my expectations too high- all previous all inclusives weve done were the best of the best. When i walked into the room i was disappointed. I was disappointed that nothing i saw mentioned that you don’t get vast ocean views from this space, you see lots of buildings as this hotel seems to be in a bay. The walls in the rooms are paper thin. It sounded like our neighbors were at the foot of our been every night and every morning. Which is rough when it’s a family resort and you’re traveling without kids… woof. However we were really only in the room for sleeping so i left it slide. Aside from the average beach views, there was frustratingly not enough beach chairs for the “average customer” and more than enough for the “premium customers”. Aside from that the bars and pool were fantastic. And the food!!! That made up for the rooms 100%. The Japanese restaurant was the best resort food we’ve ever had! We went twice! The coffee shop is great too. Overall staff was nice, food and drinks were lovely, resprt was clean. Highly reccomend looking into the mangroves tour excursion!

Love this place!

If you want to enjoy beautiful turquoise waters of Caribbean Sea, stay in this hotel. This beach has little to no waves, Lots of beach chairs, cocktails keep coming and the staff is a bunch of happy people (please tip). Food is good, we upgraded to preferred level for premium alcohol. Beds are comfy, pillows are OK, rooms are nice. Only issue is - you can hear everything that is happening in the hallways and your neighbor’s rooms. Otherwise- 100% recommend.

Amazing resort with a plethora of services and facilities

Tina S (Toronto, Canada) on Apr 08, 2024

This is the prefect resort if you want to forget about real life and responsibilities and just relax at the beach and enjoy life. The facilities are absolutely amazing. The pools are really well maintained as well as the beach front area. The service of the employees is above par as well. Variety of restaurants makes it an all stop shop. You will not want to leave the resort the entire time! The teppanyaki restaurant exceeds all expectations. I tried every restaurant and don't have a single negative thing to say about any of them. The food quality and quantity were great. The beach loungers get reserved very early in the morning. I would suggest taking a book or something and reserving one before starting your day. It gets very frustrating to see empty beach loungers all over the beach with noone occupying them. Make sure to get your spot in! The resort offers different activities almost every single day and it never gets boring. I would also call out Ricardo and Leilani for their superior service and help. They organize events all over the resort and their energy makes you want to join in! Try the beach volleyball! It's very fun! Only suggestions I have would be that the resort reserves the best spots for events only for people willing to pay for a bottle. They will not even let you stand close by to take photos and will keep pestering you until you move to the back of the area unless youve spent a big buck for their bottle service. Also, the women's bathrooms did not have any space to put your stuff down or hang anything when using the bathrooms. Considering that their entire customer base is wearing swimsuits and have to remove a lot of clothing to use the toilets, they should really have some shelves or hooks for convenience. You end up holding on to everything or having to put things on the dirty floor. Otherwise, this was a perfect vacation! We went for a week and I did not want to leave the place.

Disappointed

I got married here. The marriage was wonderful and those that helped us were great. The hotel was awful. They made me feel annoying and sad. Restaurant we had our rehearsal dinner (which we paid for btw) didn’t know about us so they told us to get in line or go somewhere else. I had to go get the wedding planner. This attitude is normal at all the restaurants. On our first day the buffet was closed for an event that you needed a reservation for. All the other restaurants had over an hour wait and they were in no hurry to help you. The upgrade and extra room we were promised didn’t happen. Put room was a disaster, and I asked for a sheet change in our wedding night and they didn’t do it. They also didn’t clean our room. The DJ we hired played for 2 hours not 3 because there is a quiet time cut off. Of course they didn’t tell us, or we would not have had a DJ at sll since he was very expensive and we lost half his time. But we still had to pay the full amount. All in all, they ripped me off and were rude to me when I brought 50 People and paid for a huge expensive wedding. Me and my husband are very passive so we let it go on the moment, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to get married or stay. You can do better for the price. However, my wedding planner, the spa ladies and the photographer were amazing. The hotel itself was the letdown. Oh and the DJ:(

The best Kids Club!!

Joseph M on Apr 08, 2024

I traveled to Mexico for the first time with my family and it was amazing, the hotel has an incredible view of the sea, the pools are very good and the staff is wonderful, they make you feel at home, my children enjoyed the kids club where the girls Elsy, Karla, Ariana Yadira and Yareliz made my children never want to leave. The activities they do with them are incredible and they are always attentive to them. Thank you very much. We will return soon.
