We loved our stay at Reflect in Cancun. We loved being on the end of the Island because it felt so secluded, and yet so safe. The staff here was friendly, courteous, prompt and attentive. Our room was cleaned immaculately every day. The food options were plenty, and if you didn't want to eat on site one meal, it was a quick walk to authentic Mexican cuisine or other dining options. We really loved being near so many things to do even though we didn't venture off the property too often. The view was unparalleled! We had a few staff that deserve mention specifically including Jafir & Pedro (bartenders/servers) & Silvia from housekeeping. Everyone was amazing, but those three really shined during our week long stay!

We had a fantastic week with our two college age boys. The location was perfect at the northern tip of Cancun, with a wide beautiful beach alongside a jetty that didn't see as much foot traffic as other areas to our south. After a short scenic walk along the water to our neighboring hotel, we were able to charter a wonderful boat ride to the island of Mujeres for a memorable day. (See Rene at EpicWaterToys for info.) Food and drinks were part of an all inclusive package. The food was pretty good and authentic. There were plenty of choices and you definitely should take advantage of the Mexican restaurant "Hacienda el Mortero" which has a lot of character, margaritas as big as your head, wonderful food, and live music. The Japanese steakhouse is a great option, but you need to be ready to camp out at 3pm to get a reservation for the hibachi grill. The rooms were nice enough and we had a decent water view both to the north and east. Our first impression was that the place seemed a bit older with need for some repairs and paint in the rooms and stairwell. The elevators were slow and sometimes not working, so we used the stairs whenever possible. Not a major issue, but we were put off by our greeter, Roberto who was pushing us to sign up for a time share presentation. Rather than get valuable info for a pleasant stay for the week, we were made to feel uncomfortable and that we should avoid him or he'd try to sell us on spas and other amenities that we wanted nothing to do with. On the flip side, we absolutely loved one of the bartenders named Geovani at the Lounge Bar off the lobby. He went out of his way to make special drinks for us each day based on our preferences. We enjoyed stopping by his bar each night before dinner or for a nightcap.

We definitely enjoyed our time in Cancun at this hotel. We met some amazing people not only the workers but those who stayed. Thank you to Roberto, Lianne, Enrique, Willie and especially Pedro for taking good care of us. The staff at this hotel are so friendly, happy and willing to serve you. Our room was very clean. Advise to those travel to Mexico to bring lots of $1, $5 and a few $10 and $20. We always tipped for the service whether it was a drink, beach service, omelet making, dinner and maid service. They work hard and deserve to be tipped. My only couple of complaints are the elevators were slow and one was down a couple of times. The other was they try to sell you there time share and should only take 90 minutes of your time. Three hours later we were still there. However these two things won’t stop me from coming back.

    Best Staff in Mexico!!

Stayed here for a week, everything from our separate check in, premium alcohol, private breakfast, pool by the ocean, all this was outstanding. What really made the trip was the service! Jahir at the Altitude bar was exceptional. ...We would return just to see him. Carmen in housekeeping was the greatest!!! Always a spotless room and kept my need for lots of espresso cups always full. Pedro at our infinity pool always kept my Mexican water cup full (If he's reading this he will understand) All in all an amazing trip and we will be back!!

Overpriced, tasteless cold food, hot drinks (when you are lucky to get one), what they call buffet you will get maybe 5 or 6 cold items. Rude staff at night. Location is the best. Very small hotel. Zero entertainment. Room service is often not delivered. They will serve you hot beer and a cold tasteless taco. The beach was great clean water.
