So few people here, so not all is open. the pool was almost empty, which was nice. A nice place to vacation. Amazing and pricey homes all around. Would be an amazing place to live. The hotel is gorgeous at night when the palm trees are lit up.

Our stay at the Westin Lake Las Vegas was very enjoyable. We received complimentary cocktails on our first day which was very welcoming. The kids enjoyed the pool and small beach area. I’m addition, it was relaxing to sit out by the fire pit in the evening. The beds were very comfortable and our room had a nice spacious bathroom. We visit Las Vegas on an annual basis, this was a nice get away from the strip and casinos. We are definitely planning to visit this hotel again.

The kind of hotel I like on a busy area especially in Last Vegas. Close to everything and to Bellagio to watch water fountain. A no smoking hotel and only hotel so far I see that no gambling machine within the hotel. It is more quiet and relaxing to stay. The only complain is they have so cold temp in the hallways that makes me wear a jacket to go out of the door even it’s on a hot weather. Although not everyone felt the same, they don’t care and they like cold. I got easily cold not for everyone. They have a good restaurant that you can order food , dine in or room service. They offer unlimited drinks for those who drinks in a certain time of the day. Over all , My husband and I our Satisfied during our stay.

Pros: fast elevators, comfy beds, good maid service, solitude if you are looking for quiet Cons: After 5 months on the road, I thought to wind up my travels with 6 days at the Westin Lake Las Vegas. Unwind and enjoy some downtime. I am a gold elite member and entitled to extra perks... 3pm Early-checkin - my room wasn't ready until 4, I was told to come back. Free room upgrade, there were no available rooms, although the parking lot was 90% empty. The next morning the parking lot was 85% empty. Self-parking is about a block walk to the hotel entrance. When my wife Kim enquired again, they told her they had been fully booked. They gave us a room upgrade at the very end of the hotel, about a block and a half from the elevators. Remember the hotel is still 80-90% empty. At the pool, there was only 1 person working. The pool bathroom hadn't been cleaned since... dried snot on the walls, and other things. No staff working in the hotel lounges that we saw. The main resraurants were closed during our entire stay. We were left with a buffet breakfast option, or coffee counter with a 80% food counter. This is a huge hotel resort with barely a skeleton staff working. In the evening you have to close your windows, countless bugs fly in and cover your pillows, and ceiling. I am entitled to a late 2pm checkout, but was told I had to checkout by noon. This is definitely the left-over remnants of a beautiful Westin Hotel. I gave it a 3 because it is a nice place. I travel all over the world and experience both 5-star and 2-star services. This "Resort" hotel needs to improve their service

After staying in Las Vegas and traveling to Utah we wanted to relax for a few days before heading home. Lake Las Vegas was perfect. We stayed at the resort the entire time enjoying the amenities (pools, a nice assortment of outdoor seating, beach, bike rentals, ping pong, corn hole, restaurants, spa) as planned. The staff was friendly and there when you needed them. The bed and pillows were comfortable and on a Sunday morning, it was only 20 minutes from the airport. We also went over The Hilton resort for dinner one night and checked out that area. The only thing we didn't like was that they charge you double for the room, along with a service fee until after you check out. I guess they have problems with guests not paying their bills? I can understand this but I think they should explain it upon arrival.
