    Very poor customer service

    It is disappointing and despicable to have such a reputable hotel treat their guests with such apathy and disrespect. My dear Aunty, husband and their friend were in quarantine at Garden Hilton for two weeks from the end of July 2020 and they were treated very poorly. The staff refused to provide a wheelchair for my Aunty who is paralysed. They made no provision for providing access to proper food for quarantining guests , and they overcharged them giving no explanation whatsoever for the extra charge. At the end of the two weeks they were then told they had to leave. They also disallowed music from being played. This is not what customer service stands for and your hotel must clean up your act or your business will suffer severely.

    This was my first time ever visiting Hawai’i and I choose to come to Kauai. The hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms were great, we had no problems at all while here. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was DELICIOUS, but what really made it special and perfect were the staff we got to talk to. Wanda checked us in, and was just a doll the entire time we were here, she was nice, polite, funny, she made us feel welcome, and she always said hi to us as we walked through the lobby. Jeanette at the front desk was such a help to us to get an early morning taxi. Naomi and Momi were our servers we had while hanging out at mamahune’s and dining in the restaurant, both of them were just amazing, Momi really nailed the recommendations for our dinner. Tom the bartender at Mamahune’s makes THE BEST Mai Tai’s, and I should know, I drank quite a lot of them while here. But my favorite interaction was with Michael the engineer on duty at night. The first day there he was painting in our hallway and apologized to us for the smell, which we responded with who doesn’t like the smell of paint. But he gave us a couple drink coupons and we just started a conversation. Later that night we were heading out to dinner and he said he had brought in brownies for the other associates, but that he would save us one. AND HE DID!!! He shared with us his home made brownies and went out of his way to save the last one and bring it to us! We saw him all throughout our stay, and never failed to say hi, ask how our trip was, and just spend some time talking with us. This hotel is absolutely the best, and I honestly can’t wait to come back.

    I find this little cottages absolutely adorable. the only problem I had was the man made Beach that consisted of volcano rocks to separate the a portion of the ocean. making them into little ponds. otherwise the staff, are kind and the restaurant had such good foods

    Great accommodations! The only thing I liked the least (although I still enjoyed) was the breakfast buffet. The price was a little steep for the "standard fair" I have come to expect from a Hilton Hotel. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. I felt at home and enjoyed the Island experience.

    Checking in to the Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay and was greeted by Jeanette. She handled the checkin like the pro that she is and she discovered that we were there celebrating my 50th birthday. She went above and beyond by giving me a little gift pack even though I've lost my Hilton Status (I've fallen from Diamond to Silver). My partner was waiting in the car for me to finish getting us checked in and Jeanette came round the desk, grabbed my hand, put a Lei around my neck and we scooted out to the car where she knocked on his window, introduced herself, welcomed him, and put another Lei around his neck. This was literally the best checking experience of my life! Through out the visit she greeted us each time we passed by her....she made our stay so enjoyable! I can't recommend the hotel or its staff, especially Jeanette, enough!
