Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

My husband and I took our 3 teenage grandchildren to stay at the Hyatt Ziva over spring break. We were met by Santiago at check in and all was seamless. Santiago met our every question and need, not only for check in, but for the entire week. He was very friendly and helpful. The food at the Hyatt Ziva was great. Our days started with a buffet breakfast with omelettes and eggs to order. A good selection of fruits and waffles, pancakes, and crepes were enjoyed with Margarita being a great hostess at the door. Lunch EVERYDAY was at the adult pool at the grill. Maria Zamora makes and serves tacos at this location. I have no idea what she does but her tacos are addictive as is her pleasing, friendly personality. Dinners were above and beyond. Make sure you make your dinner reservations as soon as you check in to the resort. Otherwise, you will be served at the buffet at night. We only ate there once as we had eaten at all of the other restaurants. No one in our group was pleased with that meal. If you are unable to make a reservation for the other restaurants, room service is a great alternative. I would highly suggest the Italian restaurant. The lasagna was authentic tasting and delicious. We ate at the Asian restaurant 2 nights. One night was at a regular table. We had almost every appetizer that was offered. The teenagers tried foods that they would not ordinarily have ordered. It was great. The other night was at the hibachi grill at the Asian restaurant. It was fantastic. Dinner and a show at the same time. We all loved it. The steakhouse was third in line on our list of restaurants. The steaks were good but my beef short ribs were excellent. Restaurant is beachfront. Last, but certainly not least, of great things to say about this trip was our room. We were on the 3rd floor right on the beach with a 2 bedroom suite. It was so perfect for us. Each morning I awoke to the sea breeze and a view of the sunrise on 2 sides of the room. Needless to say, the week was fantastic. None of us was ready to return home. I highly suggest this resort.

We had a wonderful experience at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos! It was a beautiful resort, employees were kind and helpful, the kids water play area was perfect for our almost three year old, and we loved that the beach wasn’t busy. We enjoyed the food and the one bedroom ocean front suite was perfect for our family. The chips, guacamole, pico, and tacos from Coco Loco were all so good! We enjoyed them for lunch each day. Also, the resort handled all of the details surrounding the COVID test that the US required for re-entry and made it a stress free experience experience for us. Our family will definitely return to Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.

So many amazing employees I want to give a shout out to that helped give us one of the most amazing memorable trips! Starting off with Alberto who greeted us, gave us a tour when we got there and escorted us to our room. Again we we checked out. Anselamo Sind an amazing job checking us in super friendly and helpful. Sergio, Victor, Ernest who were amazing waiters. Ricardo at the Italian Restaurant was awesome, Eliseo “El Tigre” at Dozo is one of THE best habachi chefs ever and amazed us and entertained us throughout the dinner also Carlos our waiter there was amazing! Arnulfo and Francisco at the breakfast Buffet were so friendly, cheerful and amazing! Juan our pool server one out of many amazing servers! Lily who kept us entertained daily at the pool! Awesome DJ’s at the infinity pool too! Benji our server at the festival. So many others who’s names I didn’t get written down or forgot but ALL contributed to one of the best All Inclusive experiences I have ever had! There were 3 of us moms with our High School Seniors all 17 who said it was the best place and one of their best trips ever! They didn’t want to ever leave the hotel to do anything else! Highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to come back!!

This place was amazing, staff was absolutely wonderful and each person greets you. There’s a lot to do everyday and the view is breath taking. If you’re thinking of coming, definitely you do it. You won’t regret it

Hyatt Ziva Cabo was fantastic! Just returned from a 6 night stay with my 3 teenagers and loved everything about the resort. The food exceeded every expectation we had. We loved the shrimp and fish tacos at Coco Loco, the beef and veggie tacos at the adult pool, and the French restaurant the most. We sat on the beach everyday and were treated so well by Victor and Abad. They remembered our names, our favorite drinks and even our favorite flavors of ice cream! They anticipated our needs, accomodated every request and were so kind and friendly. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and with a great variety. We enjoyed seeing Fransciso and Elias each morning who treated us with kindness and a smile. Manuel at the Asian restaurant was beyond kind and accommodating. Our waiter at Bon Vivant, Esteban, was fantastic....we went two nights in a row! The pool entertainment staff was great and ran terrific activities and games, though the music playing all day is in part what made us stay on the beach. We all enjoyed a relaxing week and loved the resort so much that we never left campus. The only thing I would do differently is to get a bigger room with bigger beds. The room had full size beds (not Queen) which was small for sharing. And the pull out couch was not comfortable to sleep on. The resort is on a huge, long deserted beach with a swimming cove just north of the resort. Can't wait to return! Full disclosure: It was sometimes a party atmosphere; if you're looking for a quiet getaway this may not be the place. The staff, food, and pools were fantastic but when the resort is 100% capacity post-Covid I don't think it will be the same relaxing environment.
