    I have been to multiple Sandals Resorts and me and my wife Absolutely love those resorts and our experience with them. However our experience with Beaches for the whole family has been less than satisfactory. We had originally booked our vacation for the family at Beaches In June. We received an email in early May stating because of travel restrictions we would need to contact them for a refund or to move our dates. I contacted Beaches resort to cancel because we were unsure of when we could travel again. But the agent on the phone was very polite and said that she could do that but she was sure if we picked a date in July our resort would be open by then. This was still in our travel range so we rebooked instead. I received a second email of cancelation one week before our travel date in June telling us our resort would still be closed and we would need to contact them again. So now it was my intention to cancel the trip and use the money to travel for vacation here in the states. Well they denied my refund because it was to close to the travel dates but asked me to move the dates again I spoke with a manager who said that they could issue a 50% refund and apply the rest to my new dates. I agreed to this it sounded great. It has now been a month and I have still not received my 50% refund. I have called multiple times and all I kept getting was it has been processed the trip still shows 100% paid and my bank says they have not received any refund for processing. Since I have gotten nowhere with people on the phone I thought I would try here. Please have some one contact me about this. I know y’all our better than this

    Be cautious booking during COVID-19 and the pandemic. We went to a sandals for our anniversary and loved it. We planned on going back multiple times over the course of our marriage. However, the resort had to close when the pandemic shut the borders to the country and/or required quarantine. The resort was closed and remains closed until further notice. Unfortunately, we could not travel during our scheduled visit. Since this time, it has been a nightmare trying to get “hassle free” booking back. We got flight back no problem, but sandals continues to state our options are to rebook at a later date (why would we do this when dates of recovery from covid keep getting pushed back and it’s hard enough planning for a family of 12) or rebook to a different resort (we chose this one for a reason and many other countries have travel restrictions too). They refuse to provide a refund since cancellation was not 30 days before destination date. How can you possibly cancel 30 days out if the pandemic hit its legislative guidelines in March (same month as planned travel). We wanted to go on the trip, resort closed and travel restrictions became severe. For a company that prides itself in service and loyalty to its customer base, I am extremely disappointed. It has been a constant battle to recoup money spent (talking a very big purchase). Company wants to build levels and retain customers coming back but they sure are dropping the ball. Likely lost 20 years of a repeat customer due to sheer ignorance.

    Every February we head to Jamaica.... beautiful island and people. This year we had a great experience with our favorite resort! Airport: Even though the lounge was under a bit of renovation, they were very accommodating to whisk us away quickly to our transportation. Arrival at Hotel: Greetings are our favorite- when the hotel staff greets us with a welcome home, it is the best feeling! Our room was ready and perfect as always. Room: As always we stay in the Greek Village, Concierge Level room. Our team of concierges always take great care of us! Stocking our favorite beverages, reservations, any request we have! Food: Terrific service this trip! Entertainment: This seemed a bit lacking this year compared to years past- we are hopeful there will be more in years to come! My biggest complaint for the past 2 years has been the evening events! in 2019 and 2020 BOR changed the time of the children's entertainment to 6pm- this means us parents either have to skip the shows for dinner (because all reservation seating are at 6pm or 8pm) or take our kids to the show and then have them pass out at dinner at 8pm. Will BOR entertainment staff PLEASE bring back the 7pm shows for the little one?! If you are looking for a small resort with options for all- BOR is your place. We look forward to our visit each and every year! We can't wait to return in 2021! Praying that all of the staff are doing well through this terrible pandemic.

    Paying for cleaning with stolen money

    BEACHES is announcing they've cleaned the resort. They aren't mentioning they are doing it by steeling money from people they cancelled on over the last few months. Like many other traveller BEACHES / SANDALS refused to honor the terms and conditions in their contracts and stated "we can change the terms and cancel your trip anytime we want and you can't do anything". Direct quote from a customer service supervisor.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. This hotel described our suite as having a large bedroom AND generous living area. Nope. No bedroom. The fully stocked bar was 2 cokes and 2 waters. We were supposed to have a concierge and again nope. We left the next day. Run down. Feral cats everywhere. Just awful.
