Sara in Housekeeping - THANK YOU!
DotDottie (New York City, New York) on Mar 22, 2024
About half an hour ago, we checked into our room on the 6th floor. Instantly, the smell of mildew was overbearing, but Sara in Housekeeping was INCREDIBLY patient and accommodating in helping us to find another room. If not for Sara, I assure you I would not be leaving a 5-star review. Her elevated customer service made all of the difference. Sara, thank you!
Highly recommend

We had a great little getaway, this hotel has everything we see looking for. Free breakfast wifi and parking. No resort fees. Was able to check out late. Amenities 3 pools with slides and actives for kids. Rooms are well equipped, iron blow dryer, fridge and microwave. Comfy beds and plenty of space. Best of all, my son’s birthday was extra special due to the amazing front desk gentlemen Omar and Iago. Staff are all friendly, I’ve stayed in many fancy hotels and nothing beats feeling welcomed with a smile. Will be back!
Great staff dates hotel
Brent C (Spencerville) on Mar 11, 2024
Staff was great but the hotel dated with beds that were not Marriott quality. Musty small rooms but clean. Breakfast was pretty good but the mini golf course was very much in need of repairs. Pools pretty good. Probably won’t stay here again.

Upgraded room definitely not an upgrade

Not a good experience at all. First, after asking if any upgrades were available and not expecting any, Heather told me that she could give me a room on the top floor with a good view f the pool and amenities area which was more than I expected. Get to the room and see the room DID NOT face the pool but the ugly parking lot. Next, the sofa bed mattress was so old and worn it had wide brown lines on both sides of the mattress top and bottom. The sofa bed squeaked horribly and not comfortable at all. The refrigerator was more of a freezer than a refrigerator. It froze everything we put in it. We asked if we could get a new mattress and new refrigerator and was told that there were no mattresses available but they will look for a replacement sleeper sofa. Not sure why if they had one of those they couldn’t just get the mattress out of it but….whatever. That didn’t even happen. The refrigerator was supposedly switched while we were out but it was doing the same thing so I’m not sure it happened. They sent housekeeping to make up the sofa bed with a thin mattress pad which only helped a little but still uncomfortable. The curtains would close all the way without brute strength the force it over the last foot to cover the window. A piece of the plaster came off the wall after a stuffed animal was dropped and hit the wall. The water absolutely STUNK. Not sure that was their fault but it has to be mentioned. While the people were nice they weren’t very helpful with our issues. I feel like it was a joke on their part that when they are asked if there is an upgrade they give that room to them then laugh about it. I have no idea if my original room was any better but this room was definitely not an upgrade.
