I was in a wheelchair. We had many issues. We checked in on a Sunday and things were ok. By Tuesday only 2 elevators were working. So our room location was not good. We had to walk up to the main building to use an elevator and then walk back to our room. A lot of extra steps. That would not of been too bad but there were no electric doors for people in wheelchairs. My husband had to prop open the door and try to wheel me in every time. The main pool had a ramp but also no electrical gate. We went to the water park and discovered no ramps to get to that area. The curbs are so steep that we had struggled every time getting there. Once there we had to go to a special gate want wait for someone, employees, to open it every time. We ere very disappointed that such a nice resort wasn’t handicapped friendly. We will not go back to that resort.

This grubby resort offers depressing decor with added price gouging through a 'resort charge'

If you arrive in the early evening, as many travelers will, you are unlikely to schlep over to the lazy river and the miniature golf course but you will still be charged $35.00. The free local calls (and to 1-800 numbers) touted as a benefit on the resort charge is not a great benefit because, you see, the cell phone has finally been invented. Has anyone used a hotel room phone since 2003? Again my phone hotspot provided faster internet (free with my phone plan) so no benefit there. In this era charging for the internet is like charging to use the shower. I don't know if the lazy pool area is open to non-hotel guests but it was so crowded my wife and I could only find two loungers hard up against an ugly wall. The general decor of the lazy river zone is Soviet Brutalist. Anything that can be made out of concrete was made out of concrete unless something uglier was available. The resort charge is essentially a sad excuse for jacking up the price. If I go to the lazy river charge me to go. If I don't go, don't charge. The hotel decor has been described by other commentators as tired. How kind. The general color scheme is reminiscent of fire damage. Do not enter this hotel if you are feeling slightly depressed as your mood will plummet. Staff was very nice.

Hotel is a bit dated and over priced

Disappointed is an understatement. Long time Hilton Honors member and was expecting much more from a Hilton Resort. Many reviews said the hotel was dated, but I was shocked to see how bad it was, even after we were told there had been upgrades recently. We actually checked out after the 1st night and moved into a Hampton Inn which was much nicer and A LOT cheaper. The Hampton didn’t have a lazy river, but also didn’t have a resort fee nor higher priced rooms.

Do Not Expect The Rizt, however...THEY DO HAVE GOOD COFFEE!!(starbucks but can’t use card or points so a little pricey..

If you’re going for leisure during the pandemic and not expecting a Cabo Vacation but looking for a nice, respectful breath of fresh air with a decent...I say that loosely, room, then stay at this resort. Again, loosely with resort..I will give a big thumbs up for not GANGING up on you about the ?? mandate??. I did have some relaxation and the Dreamy Draw was a nice distraction and very close. The place is close to everything you will need so, convenient would be a good term to use for sure. They need extra help, that’s all I’ll say..and remember it’s not the Ritz..

We planned to travel somewhere warm and basically not leave the hotel for a few days. I read the reviews and gave the positive ones the benefit of the doubt. We stayed in an upgraded newer room which had stains on the couch, the carpet was trashed- was more like an upgraded motel room. We came for the pool and lazy river- the river was quite murky and had trash stuffed in the bushes along the way. Other reviews talked about trash and while I did see them change the trash cans the staff seems to be too concerned with yelling at kids for taking the tubes in the pool (which by the way nowhere does it say they can’t do that) rather than walking along the river to help clean up the trash. On a positive note if you have kids and don’t care that there are unsupervised kids running around wild and want that environment this is the hotel for you.
