Resort and grounds were beautiful. The best part of the trip was the employees,so friendly and helpful at a times. Shout out to Tony at The PBG pool and also the beach bar.He makes some great drinks. It was a little strange traveling in these times and not all was open but with how empty the hotel was that is understandable .My only issue at all would be to let all employees understand what a Do not disturb sign on the door means. They shouldn't be knocking and coming in when this is on the door. Not a really big deal but did get woken up from ac great nap a couple times. Will gladly stay again after things get closer to normal.

Still have some things to work on

Beautiful hotel - WONDERFUL Bartenders - food was not good - other people received free upgrades and we paid for ours - hard time making reservations even premium, menu scanners not working - no hot water one night after coming back from the beach - our TV turned on while we were sleeping FULL volume, channels and volume going up and down, we could not even unplug it someone did finally come fix it - even with do not disturb sign on door they would come in your room - walk ways very narrow so literally every minute you had to stop and stand in the grass so a truck could go by which was annoying - no signs pointing you in the right directions, if you didn't know where you were going you would be walking around for a while - we both got intestinal infections and NO we did not drink the water, we even used bottled water to brush our teeth - the cake was very good - our room was hot and did not cool down - I would give this hotel another try after they fix some of the problems because it was beautiful and loved the bartenders and we stay at other princess hotels often.

Upgrade to Platinum .... well worth it!

The resort is beautiful, the mini suite was roomy and the staff was so very helpful. We had a family gathering with everyone staying all around the resort. This was my first time in an all inclusive and not leaving! Pool bars, tiki huts and many restaurants to choose from. No real room service but there is a coffee maker in the room. The sunrise was perfect every morning, even when it was cloudy!

We have travelled extensively over the years all over the Carribbean and Europe and the Bavaro Princess resort in Punta Cana is by far our favourite. It is not only the resort that is amazing but the people that make it so special. We miss Tony and Claudio at the Platinum Beach bar and Jerry and J Alberto from the Platinum lounge. We cant wait to return for the 5th time this coming year but absolutely insist that the same staff are there to greet us!! ??

We traveled as a family, including one toddler. The resort staff was accommodating and helpful. The new renos were nice modern. Due to the recent renos the hotel was at less than half capacity and this made our stay most wonderful...especially since COVID was slowly starting to travel the globe at this time, the extra space and social distancing (even though not yet mandatory at that time) was easy. We stayed in the platinum section and we all feel that spending the additional dollars for it, was worth it. VERY disappointed with the day trip to the Blue Lagoon. .. waste of $ - don't do it. However the resort was extremely large and beautiful and we are hoping to one day return as a family again.
