My husband and I spent the week from 1/14-1/21 and I must say this is one of the most enjoyable vacations we had. We saw the band Collective Soul up close and personal and also had the pleasure talking to them the next day at the Bowling Bar. How awesome is that. You are greeted everywhere you go with a smile. I believe the food is better than the last time we went and the resort is so clean. I would like to mention a few workers who did an awesome job, Sugey and Felix at Isla, Faustino at Los Gallos breakfast and our bartenders, Juan Pma, Caridad, Jose Corvajal at Moon lounge. I cant wait to go back again.

We are just back from a wonderful January week at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, and we are STILL smiling, which is easy to do with the amount of smiles received each and every moment from the HRPC employees! Their main goal? To make your vacation the BEST EVER, and, as always... they succeeded beautifully with us, as they consistently offered big smiles, heartfelt hellos, fun conversations/laughter and, above all, a demonstration of what genuine warm Dominican hospitality is all about! Before I get into “kudos” for this visit’s "stand out" employees, here are a few helpful hints from an “old timer” who considers this place “home away from home”: •The place is indeed large, but, that is a positive! There is a bounty of things to do both day and night, compared to smaller resorts. You can’t get bored; and, there is always enough transportation trolleys to get you where you need to go • When you get settled, walk the lobby (great exercise!) from one end to the other. Then, take a trolley ride, so you can see all the pools/activities throughout the resort. The place is big, BUT, within a day you will find your microcosm community pool and get to know your way around. • Take advantage of the lobby activities during the evening .There is LOTS to do including shopping, entertainment, games, casino and, (one of our favorite) “people watching” as you sit at one of the many restaurant side tables they have strategically placed for just this type of entertainment! • Most importantly: REACH OUT TO THE EMPLOYEES and HAVE FUN!!! You will see... their smiles and laughter are contagious! Thank you to the below employees/staff for making yet another vacation so wonderful!!! The six of us had another fabulous time this year at HR Punta Cana. It's about our 10th time at this resort now. The food and drink were great as usual. I particularly enjoyed Zen. Once again, David and Laura made our stay exceptional and made us feel special. Thanks also to all the staff at the Isla pool for taking care of us and ensuring our glasses were always full. I can't wait til our next visit! Ed L.

We traveled to HRPC 12/27-1/3. As always, we had a wonderful time. Our butlers, Altagracia and Marcos provided exceptional service, attending to all of our needs and desires. And when our daughters became sick, Altagracia went beyond the call of duty, going to a grocery store outside of the resort to track down some over the counter medicine that the resort did not have. THAT is truly exceptional service and one of the many reasons we keep going back.

Came back from the hard rock on Jan 22 free a 7 day trip with 4 kids and 4 adults. Two kids under 1. Overall, the resort was clean, service was good and food was below average. Beach The beach was nearly red flag every day, super strong waves and rough so it wasn't good for our kids. Sand was soft and no seaweed at all. Liquor Top shelf in the lobby and the pool bar near the kiddie pool. I saw black label, grey goose and Chivas. I didn't see any decent rum however. Drinks were extremely watered down. Mojitos were hard to come by as they never seemed to have any mint. Food Probably the worst I have had after 3 trips to Dominican. I stayed at the Bahia and the Bahia Fantasia within the last 5 years and this was the worst. The main buffet had the same food most nights, not a lot of seafood at all not a lot of selection. Even the buffet near the pools was the same dishes every single day for lunch. One day during the week we saw a BBQ at the main pool and they had a ceviche cart but the line up was far too long. Overall it wasn't the best bet a better alternative than the buffet for lunch. However they have the regular , chicken fingers, fries and nachos everyday at lunch near the pool. Service The room cleaning was amazing and super consistent every day at the same time. We stayed in building 1 and at 930am she was always there for the full 7 days. Floors were spotless and mopped everyday. Robes, towels, slippers were not hard.to come by. I also requested a kettle for formula and that came same day and so did the crib we had no issues as mentioned in previous reviews. The room service was Amazing and frankly better than the buffet. A lot of items that were not on the menu, you can just request and they make it...takes less than 30 minutes for them to arrive. The workers were all friendly, kind and courteous. My baby was driving me nuts one day at breakfast and one of the ladies took her out of my arms So I could finish my coffee and Walked around with her for 10 Mins...it was glorious. Pool My biggest complaint, it was freezing! The kids pool was too cold, not to mention the cold weather didn't help. Towels were really easy to come by, and so were beach chairs and this was around 11am. Overall we never left the resort, there's so so much to do. Laser tag, bowling, casino . There's an ice cream parlours and a coffee place, chocolate store...the day they did the Michael Jackson show, they had him and batman drive up and around the main lobby in a batmobile taking pictures, it was a ball for the kids. Wifi was great not a single issue. The resort was just too big for me. Took us about 10 minutes to get to the pool from our building on the cart and a pain when you have strollers.
