El Dorado Seaside Suites

OMG I had the best time at Seaside. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable. However Juan Sanchez which We met back in 2019 made the the vacation spectacular. He was attentive to all of our needs, remembered who we were, and made it feel like home again. We look forward to our next vacation and seeing him again.

My lady and I shared the most wonderful 11 nights at this resort last Nov and had the most amazing time. If you want quality time in paradise with the one you love than this place will not disappoint. From airport to hotel around an hour to travel but more than worth the wait by all means. Our room was spacious with double bathroom, jacuzzi and huge bed, and I mean huge, that could accommodate a basketball player easily. The hotel is wonderful all around and extremely clean due to the extremely hard working staff that seem to be around 24/7. We had a second floor room which was more than ample and although we contemplated a swim up room we were actually glad we didn’t fork out as you only manage a couple hours of pure sunlight a day due to the complex layout. The main buffet restaurant was lovely although we only ate there on the first night as there are multiple al a carte restaurants on offer around the complex. The Mexican and Italian restaurants were fantastic however the standout for us both was the Asian Clay te Lay, hopefully spelt right. This place was amazing and we were very luck to book 3 times during our 11 magical nights. With that in mind it’s worth mentioning that you have to book these restaurants a couple of days in Advance with your concierge office, located outside your apartment block. The pool area was large with enough area to accommodate guests however we are all about a beach and this one was truly spectacular in every way, just how you picture paradise. Beds can be hard to find by the beach but if you get yourself sorted by 9am you won’t struggle for a great spot. There is a picturesque restaurant right on the beach to accommodate your cravings from breakfast right throughout the day with a vast selection of fantastic eats. That being said there are a few sea birds of sort around which will go for your food if left unattended but will not bother you when you are sat dining. Anyway back to the beach as it is the real winner every minute you get to enjoy it. We were advised that algae was an issue on this part of the beach however there is an artificial jetty that has seemed to keep all of it away from being an issue and what does make it through is removed on a daily basis by the amazing and hardworking staff. Whilst on the beach you are treated to drinks at your convenience and a very lovely and hardworking Maria was always on hand to take our order and deliver in no time at all. The drink getting is usually my job on hols so thanks to Maria I only had to lay back and enjoy, thank you My darling Maria. The night entertainment was enjoyable although if you were not out early enough you would struggle for seating purely because of the popularity of it. However you would always find space to stand at the bar and wait for an opportunity to sit. We definitely would as you’d have more than ample time to sink you frozen cocktails late into the night, which reminds me don’t request a room near the night bar as the music pumps until around midnight. So I wanna say thank you to All the hotel staff for making our holiday one of the best. We met a couple from New York on honeymoon that had originally booked a hotel down the road and were having an awful time until they changed to the el dorado during their stay. In their words ‘this is paradise, this is what we expected for our honeymoon’. Thank you all

After two visits to this brilliant hotel previously and 4 visits in total to the fantastic Riviera Maya area we decided on something different for January 2020, a Thomas Cook holiday to an all inclusive in Akumal. The rest , as they say is history, TC goes bust , holiday cancelled and after some time finally got our money back Then our luck changed, managed to book through TUI two weeks at Tui Blue El Dorado Seaside Suites in early January 2020 flying from Birmingham on their amazing Dreamliner and staying in the Premium block on the second floor The descriptions and photos showed the hotel complex much changed since our previous visits, Trip Advisor reviews were good, but would it live up to our previous experiences and expectations ? Well the answer is it absolutely did !Although the complex is bigger with the “ sister American hotel “ nearby the management have succeeded in keeping the legendary “Seaside Suites” atmosphere and outstanding customer service A greater selection of restaurants, serving every conceivable taste, great bars , great service and surprisingly still opportunities to find a quiet peaceful place to while away your day if you wanted to Great swimming pools and daytime bars, good beaches, although sometimes a little busy at peak times, great walks in the grounds and some interesting shows and events in the evening, especially the Mexican Nights So for us our third stay at “ Seaside Suites “ was a complete success, it lived up to our expectations and continues to be amongst the best all inclusive resorts we have stopped in anywhere in the world Would I come back, I certainly hope so, especially if I can fly with a Tui on their brilliant Dreamliner

Had an amazing stay here, only thing to spoil it was COVID-19, our 2nd wk was very quiet but staff & management did everything they could for remaining guests. The team did exceptionally well to try and please guests to the best of there ability due to the current climate.

We found Sensimar fantastic. We made very good friends with all the staff,the activities team especially Sandra. We joined Exotic here and Martine and Billy became very good friends and our butlers were outstanding. I want to mention a few of the staff that touched our.lives,Alejandro concierge, Arturo and Arturo,Angel,Ignacio. There are too many wonderful staff to mention. There is alot of outdoor meals available which we really enjoyed. Display foods are an option as well as gourmet dining. The bbq were delightfull
