Be wary of this hotel! We had to fight to have them honor us having all 3 of the rooms of our reservation together and waterfront views as we had requested. Then the front desk continued nickel and diming us for not returning a wristband towels and key cards! The rest of the staff was nice and food/drink mediocre but the front desk really put a damper on our stay!

Highly suggest you book elsewhere… Unless you get a great deal, definitely a 1 STAR RESORT. We are here now and it’s been issue after issue. I rarely give reviews but I am so stricken by this resorts LACK of Customer Service I am compelled to share some of the issues we have experienced. Customer Service is EACH DEPT. is less than 1 star. It almost feels like we are inconveniencing them with any question or concern. *Except the servers at the restaurants, they are pleasant . A Few examples… requesting our room air conditioner be fixed (not working) was a struggle and after 3 days we asked if they could just bring a fan because the service tech that came did not fix it and it’s HOT. walk-in for dinner reservations they are not pleasant, & what’s shocking is that 65% of the tables in the restaurant are sitting empty. asking where lost in found is, etc… Asking about the Ferry boat, the concierge didn’t even look up from his cell phone to answer us. Pool is fine, there are no extras though … basic pool. no music, or swim up bar, servers for drinks are scarce, & they do not even allow any food from restaurants be taken near pool. You get a pool towel card and you must guard your towel and return it or you will be charged $25. Beach is very small and less than desirable. * not your average Cancun beach. On a canal, off the strip and very rough water approach. Water shoes are a MUST! A positive note, the beach is next to the Ferry boats that travel every hour to Island isla Muyeres, that is convenient if you choose to leave. We did that after a few boring days at the resort. Highly recommend the orange DANCER. Excursion boat that brings you to the island. Fun day, well worth it. Barely any entertainment, so If you are traveling to Cancun for rest this resort is the place. Otherwise This is what stood out to me, that I found strange… Although they post an entertainment schedule near the pool after 4 days I have Not seen much. There is NOT even music ( of any genre) playing around the pool or Beach during the day. * Late at night I have heard music & there was karaoke and a Circus & magic show.* see details later on this.. Restaurants: YIKES! When we first arrived @3pm/4pm there was nothing open, they suggested we go to the snack bar, where we found what appeared to be pizza & Hotdogs, that looked like it was cooking there for days. Oh & stale tortilla chips. They informed us that we could eat at the Buffet tonight, and tomorrow at 11am we are to line up with other guests and make reservations in the lobby for dinner that night. What?! So each day we need to be at resort, or eat at the buffet. Otherwise There are 3 choices, The Buffet ( scary) La Trattonia Italian, (chicken Parm.. was terrifying) Claraboya (seafood) Lobster bisque was good. It rained one day so the evening entertainment was not on the pool stage rather in a banquet room on floor 3, we arrived and as soon as we walked in the door and OVERWHELMING odor or MOLD hit us. We made it about 10 minutes into the show and had to leave because the smell of mold was making our eyes water and throats itch… Missed that show! We all decided we would not return to that room again, Yes the show the next night was also held in this room so we subsequently did not get to enjoy. I dont believe we will be back

From the moment we check in till we checked out our experience was great! Staffs were amazing and very hospitable, Special mention to Antonio, one of the waiters in Mexican restaurant. He took very good care of us when we had dinner and very attentive to our needs. Also to Calrolina in the Kids Club. My kids were excited to see her during our stay for different kind of activities from making cookies, arts and crafts, movies and pop corn etc. The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing. Our room has balcony which is nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. Towels smells fresh and our bed linens. Bathroom are clean and big space shower. The buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious and great variety of options. They have 24 hours snack bar on the second floor above the lobby. They have 2 bar, one is on the lobby and by the beach, they made good drinks. Aside from the buffet, they have 3 restaurants (1 Mexican, Italian and seafood) that you can make a reservation. Entertainment at night was fun specially the karaoke nights, everyone can participate to sing without judgement just to have fun (tons of fun). All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We went to the fish restaurant, food was great and super service. About that, I think this is a great thing about this hotel, super staff. Stephany yesterday served us perfectly. The ambience was fabulous, food came out quick, and Stephany ask us multiple times if we needed anything.
