The staff here is very pleasant and eager to serve. The Zilara is a spotless facility with amazing views. They always remembered our dietary restrictions and offered several options to accommodate this. Excellent food selections in many different cuisines. Loved this experience
Great time at Hyatt Zilara Cancun

We stayed for five nights at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun in March 2024. The location and view at this hotel is amazing. The view from our balcony and the pools of the Caribbean Sea is unparalleled. The room (ocean view double) was laid out very well and comfortable. But clearly the excellence at the Zilara Cancun starts with their staff. Everyone we met while staying here was incredibly warm and welcoming. The service at the restaurants and in the pool areas was responsive. We didn’t have to wait long to have a waiter offering drink service while at the pool providing a very relaxing experience. We ate at the four restaurants on site at least several times each. We ate most of our breakfasts and lunches at Punta Vista. The restaurant has a great view, wide ranging menu and exceptional service. From the Captain at Punta Vista, Samantha, and the chef, Cocom, to all of our waiters, Alfredo, Hector, Elias, Valdemar and Pedro, we enjoyed the best service and great food. They would often offer suggestions on menu items that we may like and they all were delicious. One night, we ate a teppanyaki dinner at Asiana and it was the best experience we have ever had for a teppanyaki meal. The food and service was exceptional. We also enjoyed eating at Maria Marie. The food was varied and excellent as well. Definitely order the soufflé for dessert. We will definitely look to stay here again.
Pure Heaven

Hyatt Zilara was just a slice of heaven. Staff takes care of you with a smile and such kindness! Food is always fresh, drinks are not watered down, always something to do from shows every night to activities at the pool and beach, to pilates and yoga classes. Spa is absolutely stunning. The place to be if you want to get treated like royalty
Great view . . . Average food . . . Superb staff

My wife and I have stayed at a lot of Hyatt resorts, but this was the first time at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun. Overall, a very good experience and four nights was just the right amount of time. The hotel is only a 15-20 minute ride from the airport. Check-in was easy. All rooms have a view of the ocean. Our room was on the fourth floor at the south end of the pool. Beautiful view with the water a blend of amazing colors, transforming from turquoise to deep blue. The room was a bit "tired," but adequate. As an all-inclusive resort, there are a number of restaurants and bars. Candidly, the food and drinks were average. None I would rate as excellent, but generally good. And don't bypass the poolside lunches which we often found to be the best meal of the day. Mid-level brands of liquor, nothing "top-shelf," but clearly something for everybody. Morning exercise classes by the pool were popular. Lots of spa services (which we did not try). Nightly entertainment (e.g., burlesque show, acrobat show, Mexican show/mariachi band) was very cruise boat-esque, but in a charming kind of way. The pool is outstanding--runs the length of the hotel parallel to the beach. The south end of the pool is "quiet" with a lot of 40/50/60/70-ish couples. The north end of the pool (where the music starts shortly before noon and foam parties are held a couple times a week) caters to the younger crowd. However, given the price-point of the resort, no worries about college spring-breakers. Mix of rental and free cabanas and chaises. What makes this place is the view, the pool, and the staff. Across the board, the staff are superb--friendly and attentive. Among the best I have experienced anywhere.
Mediocre

I stayed here for my honeymoon. It was average in every way. The food is particularly bad. We ended leaving for dinners even though it’s all inclusive. We wouldn’t return here for another stay. The property was very clean though and pool area was nice.
