Maybe I’m more used to Disney World where everyone is friendly and they go out of their way to help and make it a magical trip. At $600 per night I wasn’t very impressed. Yes the room was clean...very small. The shower is getting old and not great water pressure. They said we had a downtown Disney and fireworks view. Except the trees in front of our window we would of had a great fireworks view. The cleaning staff are always yelling throughout the hallways throughout the day. Maybe they assumed everyone was gone to the theme park during the day but we weren’t. My daughter was sick and I thought it was rude. We asked a lady that was cleaning across the hall if we could get our room cleaned at 1 pm. She told me it wasn’t her job. I asked can you please tell someone as the house keeping button on the phone kept me on hold for 10 min. We came back to a dirty room not cleaned. The next morning I forgot to put the Do Not Disturb sign out..my fault but they knocked on my door at 6:30 am to clean it. Not impressed. I thought the room service prices were very high for a family place. Yes I know it’s Disney and prices are high but I travel A lot and I thought they were a bit much $54 steak with no sides. The positive is you are super close to downtown Disney with lots of food choices. I wouldn’t stay here again

Loved the Disney magic in this hotel!

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of my daughter's 16 birthday present (went to LA afterwards). We are from the East Coast so we normally go to Disneyworld. I had stayed here when I was younger so it had been quite a while since I was there. I would have loved to stay an additional day or 2 so we could have experienced the hotel as we did 2 full park days. We didn't stay any additional nights due to the price of the hotel and parking fees (they add up). That is the only reason I removed a star was the price per night. The room wasn't that big as our next hotel after this in Los Angeles was much more spacious. I loved the Mickey touches throughout this hotel. You don't see as many in the Disneyworld hotels any more. From the tea cup couches in the lobby to the Mickey faucets and light fixtures! Then our absolute favorite the light up headboard! Loved it!!!! They also still give the little bottles of shampoo each day! We stayed in the Fantasy tower and had a view of the front entrance of the hotel. We were able to see fireworks at night. We only had a few issues with the shower but it wasn't a big deal. The shower head didn't work and they quickly came up and replaced it. Then after that there was no hot water and again they came and fixed the diverter so we had hot water. Something happened in the hallway as well as there were machines in there used to dry things out. The tiki torches at Tangaroa Terrace were so pretty as was the fireplace. Everything on the hotel property was right there you didn't have to walk far to get to any restaurant or anything. It was great being able to walk to the park! You walked out the back door and you were practically right in Downtown Disney! Then a few short minutes and you were at the entrance of both parks! It was so much less stressful going to Disneyland than Disneyworld! The lines were manageable, no buses or anything it was great. We had a great time at the hotel and park and wish it was closer to us as we preferred it to the craziness that has become Disneyworld.

From the moment we were greeted from our long journey to the happiest place on Earth, till the moment we left, the staff at Disneyland Hotel made our family feel like superstars. Upon checking in, we were greeted by Ernie, who went above and beyond to cater for us due to our room not being ready. We are truly grateful for the hospitality shown. Our room had a fantastic view overlooking the parks and we got to see the fireworks from our room. I would love to know what kind of matress's are on the beds because i had the most incredible sleep. Super comfy. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff and they were always so friendly and helpful. I can not wait to get back to Disneyland Hotel, my stay here was perfect.

A great pleasure for me and my family

IT is a very well organized hotel with very dedicated staff people. The fact of being located practically inside the Disney complex makes you have a real fantastic Disney experience. The food options are good with a Hawaiian restaurant by the pool, a small coffee shop and the guff breakfast restaurant. The location is strategic for you to come and go around and even to the beach or LA by car. The swimming pool is great with a salted water care. Important ... No noise at the rooms because of a heavy door and thick walls. Seems that everything was very well thought for you

Nice hotel but a bit noisy

We spent 5 days at Disneyland and stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. I liked the original atmosphere which reflected the 1950s when Disneyland opened. On the other hand the hotel could use some updating. The hotel staff was very nice. The only real issue was the noise. We could hear every bathroom activity happening in the neighbouring rooms, the toilet flushing were extremely annoying to listen to.
