Hotel is well located, room was decent and staff were affable. Nice bar and the breakfast was lovely. Will definitely book again. We went to see Liam Gallagher at the 3arena, it was about a 30 minute walk right through the centre of Dublin, local pubs are full of genuine people.

I had to cancel my stay due to the current pandemic. The Academy Plaza refunded my money within 24 hours. I will not hesitate to rebook with the Academy Plaza when travel restrictions are lifted. During prior visits to Dublin I stayed at other higher priced hotels and in 2019 I visited the Academy Plaza and saw that it offered the same amenities at a much lower price than I was paying elsewhere.

Great hotel, great city but bad timing with corona.

This hotel is ideal for both business and social visits. The location is very accessible from the airport, as the shuttle bus stops directly outside. The hotel is just far enough away from unwanted noise and commotion but close enough to engage the hustle and bustle of desired. The room was cleaned to a very high standard and was very modern. The hotel staff were very helpful, specifically the bar staff. Great stay.

The rooms were basic, no microwaves or fridges. Pretty cramped for a family, but serves its purpose. The 5 stars goes to the night hotel clerk! Hauken was amazing! Very genuine and seemed to care about us. Gave us some inspiration during these crazy times!! Thanks for making our stay great!

We felt really comfortable and welcome. The Personal was kind. The bed was made every day two times. Its was surprising clean and even though we did not put the towels on the ground, they got washed. We definetly come back just to see Hokan again, who was ready for a talk at any time. If we came back at 3 am after parties, we always could talk to him to get advices and wisdoms of him. The hotel was directly in the centre and you could go anywhere by feet or bus or train. About the food i can't tell anything, because we booked without eating in the hotel. We enjoyed our trip and we definetly come back, not only because of Dublin, it's also because of Hokan from the reception, which we definetly wanna see again. Greetings from Paul, Janik and the girl in sleeping pants :D
