    We stayed here last week with 6 adults and 3 children. We loved the location, the food, and the incredible cocktails! Omar with the bell staff was very helpful. Danny at the bar was awesome with great drink recommendations (Londan Green and Tonic is a must) and recommendations of where to visit around the island in general. Abby and Meydita down at the beach staff were amazing! They remembered my baby's name after the first day and were quick to come greet us and always kept us full and well hydrated. As for the facilities, the rooms are a bit dated, but certainly still nice. The spa didn't have any amenities, but my husband and I did get a massage there and it was VERY good! The buffet is great each morning, and the guy that does the omelettes had my order down by day 2. Great variety for breakfast. The ocean is perfect with the floating trampolines to relax out in the perfectly calm waters. There isn't much of a beach to play in the sand for the kids, but you can walk to either side of the chairs for more options for this. Every night there is a theme, but it isn't like cheesy all-inclusive style. The themes were really nice with excellent food and drink to accompany. While we loved the restaurants we ate at outside of the hotel, a few times we came back and regretted not just staying there. Plenty to do for adults and children. Sushi to s'mores! My one and only complaint is that we had three rooms next to each other. We got a noise complaint every night we gathered in one of our rooms after 10:00. Once even in the room in the middle of the three rooms. The only way you could hear anything in the room is from the hallway. I actually walked out into the hallway to other guests in an argument. When I returned to the room and asked if they others heard, they hadn't heard anything and the girl was yelling in the hallway. We noticed the security guard pacing the halls each night, and we think he is who initiates these 'complaints'. Since we were there with children, we weren't able to be downstairs all night. It was very surprising to us that 4-6 adults in a room with children, even children sleeping some of the time would warrant a noise complaint. Important to note too that we go on annual trips. This is the FIRST time we have had this happen and for it to happen multiple times was shocking. I would definitely stay here again!

    I stayed at the resort for a business Meeting in May. Overall I was pleased with my stay. The rooms were very clean and nice but seemed a bit dated. The beach area was crowded and the resort had quite a large crowd. The restaurant was excellent and the food was of high quality. Overall a nice stay for business.

    This place is amazing! I felt so taken care of . They go above and beyond. Special shout out to Andre,Greg and Omar!!! They helped us make sure we got to were we needed and welcomed us back . They really took care of us.My daughter and I had a wonderful time. Food was great!

    First of all the staff here is over the top! The hotel lobby, restaurant area, coffee/crepe shop is great. The rooms are a little dated but we didn't spend much time in the room so it was tolerable. The outside restaurant is great w/ very good food and service. Shiva took very good care of us several times for the lobster dinner and lunch. We will be back. Caymans is amazing!

    I am a born Caymanian living here for all of my life (22) yrs. i visited this beautiful hotel to have dinner and a drink... when trying to do so i was asked multiple times what was my last name and room number... randomly. I was actually shocked and hurt. Being a local it seems we cannot enjoy our beaches or hotels without spending the night... i also met some very nice tourists who asked me for advice on what to do on the island... while i shared some information.. they told me that they arent even staying at the westin but was staying at a condo close. But they were told they can pretty much do whatever they want (have dinner, buy drinks etc) i have never felt any worse. Why cant locals do this? Behaving in a good manor and also spending money to enjoy just the same... i love my island but this needs to stop. And maybe reviewing this here... the managers will think twice on how locals are treated. - end.
