We checked into The Cosmopolitan on 10/13/19 with Diego's assistance and absolutely great customer service. He greeted us with a smile and welcomed us to the Cosmopolitan then did everything he could to make sure all in my group were close by getting our rooms right next door to each other. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and clean from the lobby to the casino, bars, restaurants and room. We had a Studio King Terrace Fountain View Room and it was a very nice and clean room with an amazing view of the Bellago Fountain from the balcony area (this hotel is right next to Bellagio and directly across the street from Planet Hollywood). It had 2 dorm size refrigerators one stocked with items for purchase and one for personal use which I liked very much I just wish there had been a microwave to reheat our food we had left over from one of the restaurants, but I do believe that they have rooms available that come with microwaves. There are several restaurants and a buffet as well as a Starbucks in this hotel. There are also several shops within the hotel as well as easy access to Miracle Mile Shops and The Shops at Crystals. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and look forward to staying with them again on my next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cosmo! Absolutely fantastic hotel and amenities. We upgraded our room to a Terrace view king overlooking The Bellagio Fountains in the Chelsea tower 27th floor. The room is large and well equipped. It has a large sitting room area with a large couch, chair, desk area and large tv. The king bed was comfortable and has a smaller tv as well. The bathroom is well sized and appointed with a jetted tub, 2 vanities and enclosed water closet. The terrace is large with a couch, chair and tables. The view is spectacular overlooking the strip. We enjoyed the Bellagio fountain show many times from the terrace. The hotel has 2 towers, The Chelsea and Boulevard. It has 2 pool areas, a fantastic work out area, 13 restaurants, a beautiful casino and is located in a central part of The Strip. We ate at several of the restaurants and enjoyed their food as well. I highly recommend this resort. It’s a first class operation. Can’t wait to return for another fantastic vacation experience!

So...I’m a 50 something year old bloke from the UK, this was my 4th visit to Vegas and my first to the Cosmo. Our check-in was painfully slow, after a delayed and long flight from the UK, they were busy but did not have many staff working that night. Let’s get my frustrations out of the way first, our balcony/corridor constantly smelt like it was next to a weed factory, the lack of hot drink facilities in the room and finally just how busy this place is at the weekend! Positives, we had a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains on the 61st floor, incredible view, although still plenty of noise at this level, Vegas is not for the faint hearted or those after a quiet break ??. The bed in our room was incredible, the wife and I both said “the best we’ve ever slept on, pillows included” Cosmo please send some to the UK. The lack of coffee in the room meant a trip downstairs every morning to bring a drink back up, at the weekend you could be in a line of 20 people waiting, so beware, bring a kettle or ask the hotel for one. The bathroom had a huge walk in shower, huge bath, double vanity and lots of toiletries that were replenished daily. The room had two TV’s, a large sofa, iron, board etc. All good except the TV channels were not the best! As mentioned the view of the fountains was incredible, although the noise associated with the big water bursts, sounded like explosions...it’s goes on all day and all evening ??. The hotel is centrally located on the Strip so within easy reach of all the ‘big hotels’ by foot, if you don’t mind a walk. There is a Walgreens on the opposite side of the road (via a bridge) where you can buy provisions. As an example a bottle of Coke in the hotel is more than 12 cans in Walgreens. All produce can be kept in the large empty fridge (they provide two, the other is stocked with mini-bar items. I did eat one of the small tubes of Pringles one night from our room....the cost $9.74. We hired a car while there, there is a Hertz on site at the car park level, we used it but found out after if we had booked from Hertz at the airport is would have been nearly half the price. We spent a couple of days out, my favourite day was Death Valley national park, in October hardly a sole or car to be seen and utter peace...I loved it! It’s about a 300 mile round trip including seeing most of the park....however it’s an easy 300 miles of straight and easy motoring...not like the UK! Back to the hotel, we tried various restaurants and snack places on site and was not disappointed with any of them, in-line with all good places on the Strip though $$$$. The pool area was nice. When we did not have the car we used UBER to get around....do visit Fremont street in the evening. The Cosmo is a great hotel, well located, lovely rooms, great staff. Remember UK visitors the hotel (like most others) will be adding a nightly resort tax of over $44 per room. I love Vegas and would recommend this hotel and the resort to anyone that has not been, just remember though it’s not peaceful and certainly not for the faint hearted, especially at the weekend! Thank you Cosmopolitan...we will be back!

    Handicap accessible room

I recently traveled to Las Vegas and stayed in at the Cosmopolitan. Overall the hotel was fairly handicap accessible. Some issues I ran into from time to time were of course small shops and small restaurants that often made maneuvering quite difficult in my scooter. This was a couples trips so one night we made reservations to STK but unfortunately had to go elsewhere because STK wasn't handicap accessible. Another issue I experienced were a lot of tables were bar high. There wasn't any low tables in the food court type areas. The only restaurant that had a countertop low enough was Hattie B's and it was a very small area. As far as the room it was fairly roomy enough for me to maneuver my scooter. The bathroom was also fairly spacious but the shower was tiny. All in all my visit was OK. If I ever travel back to Vegas I will definitely be open to other hotel options.

    Horrible Elevators; Nice Property

On the good side, the rooms were a decent size and comfortable. Lots of good restaurants. The conference center was close to the chelsea tower. Location on the strip is good and you can get a really nice view of the Bellagio fountains. Nice decor in the hotel. Service was good too. Biggest downside, and why I would not use this hotel to host a conference, is the elevators. It just takes forever to get up and down from rooms. Long wait time to get an elevator. Seemingly stops at every floor. Lots of people talking about this. People squeezing in because they just can’t wait any longer. Brings the rating from 4.5 to 3, in my opinion. Bonvoy benefits (Marriott) include speedy check in and a small $10 credit. Possible upgrade.
