I came here for my 58th birthday, I am so glad I did .This is the first time I traveled in Baja California region. This place is beautiful. If you like the best of both worlds the sea and the mountains you would love this area. Its isolated and the town of Loreto is about a 30 minute shuttle ride. There are trail walks to take advantage of, and of course laying around the beach. water is too cold in january for me to take a dip. its very peaceful here . Now , about the resort ......The food is good!!!! . The people are very friendly. They have a nightly show at 7pm and ends at 8 pm. you can order room service if you like. The room is nice. and if you have a special occassion they go out their way to throw in surprises. The resort provides excursions but, I did not go on any. The town has a couple of things to see and do but, literrally you could just stay at the resort. Now, there are places in town you would want to eat at. that will really knock your socks off. just simply delicious!!! if you are looking for good food and culture this is a nice place to visit.

A group of 12 friends visited this resort in early November 2019 for a 7 day all inclusive trip. After one day four of us got sick. The four of us ate ceviche pool side and believe this was the cause of the illness. I believe this to be true after later seeing hundreds of flies on the food being prepared at the poolside shack. I had to check out of the resort on day 2 to be transported to the nearest medical facility for being severely ill. I then had to take an air ambulance back to the states for medical treatment due to being infected with E.Coli, Shigella, and Norovirus. The eight remaining friends also became sick for one or more days during the 7 day stay.

    Very nice but pricey

My wife and I drove up from our house in Cabo(6hours nice drive) to check this out. Although we fish a lot we decided to just hike and golf. Both were amazing. Opted for the mid day deal at $155 per player. The course was marvelous with nearly flawless condition and panoramic scenery. The signature 17th is as published. Take one extra club over water. Almost jarrred a blue pin placement. Course pretty wide open and few players. The hiking trails are terrific but need a little repair. The food and prices were good. Not outstanding. But service at this establishment is just totally top notch. We were very politely Asked about presentations but we’re not pressured. Only downfall felt the rooms for $344 is overpriced. Perhaps there are deals. Will certainly look for one next time as we will return. Also one elevator for 6 floors ???rooms are nice but not for the price.

OK, we're hooked for life. This was our 4th visit and a special one. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary, also my birthday celebration (Jan 12th), with a small party of 8 family members and friends, on the 17th Green overlook area. The staff at Loreto could not have been more accommodating. They were all excellent, providing private carts to and from the event. The golfing was also perfect, and as always we were pampered every day of our stay. The very special friends of ours that we must comment on as the most excellent professionals anywhere in Mexico were: Javier (Golf), Richard (Golf), Cesar (Bar & Disco), Uziel and Emanuel (Every thing else). And the entire wait staff at both the main dining areas and sports bars were beyond excellent!!! Please give raises to Javier, Richard and Cesar! These guys go above and beyond the call of duty in making everyone feel very special and being very attentive to all of our rediculous requests. Mucho, mucho gratias!

My wife and are two little nieces (6 and 10) had a great time over New Years at the property. It was our second time there. The staff was absolutely the best. It feels like family. While we caught a bit of a cold spell - low 70's, the staff made the entire stay tremendous. A special shout out to the servers at the Market restaurant who made our evenings special. Our little girls, and me too loved, the shows. Thank you to the cast and crews! Thanks you to Christian, Edgar, Rafael, Gregorio, and the rest of the team there! Adrian who cooked great steaks and other meals for us. Jorge by the pool and Uzi at the entrance. Thank you guys! I recommend this property if you like family style service and the beautiful Sea of Cortez.
