The good: All rooms have an ocean view. Plenty of pools (5) Food is ALWAYS delicious. Never had a problem with the food here. The After is a good addition - group karaoke night was entertaining. It was fun to hear the entire place sing the same songs. Helpful, friendly staff everywhere Cart drivers are nice (Dannyboy stood out as a fave) Owners lunch wasn't bad at all. We were able to see the changes and ask any questions. No pressure for upgrading. We simply said no thanks. This was worth it for discounted excursions. The beach beds are nice and worth the $65/day! The bad:Check-in didn't take too long but of course the rooms weren't ready. We went and had lunch (2 hours, read below) and then came back at 4 for the keys. Still nothing. He said come back in 20 minutes. Came back in 20 minutes and now the line for keys that only has 2 people working it were checking in groups of people so that took forever. Those people should be allowed to check in at the key line, they should have to stand in the check in line like everyone else. That took another 30 minutes and the room still wasn't ready. He gave me the keys though and told me wait 20 minutes to go. No problem...as it took 20 minutes to get a cart. Service has been the slowest it has ever been (this is my 4th visit) - is it the all-inclusive bracelets that make them forget about you? There were times we sat for 15-20 minutes before even getting a menu or drinks. There were 2 times we had to get up and get our own menu after waiting so long. Service here has always been a bit on the slow side which is to be expected when on vacation (I know they aren't as fast paced as we are used to in the US) but this time you pretty much had to give yourself 2 hours for each meal. That is 6 hours out of your day just to eat if you are doing breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. We tried all the different restaurants too, including the market and the ones with upcharges...all with the same result. 2 hours per meal to get in/out. Buildings 42/43 were loud at night - construction going on made it a bit difficult to sleep in past 8. We were moved to building 20 though after 4 nights and it was much quieter there. Big thank you to Yasmin and Jonathan at the front desk for moving us to a quieter room. The pool at building 40 is in bad need of a remodel. So many tiles missing and loose tiles laying around everywhere. The buttons at the pool for service offered no faster service...again...count on waiting for food and drinks. The staff was super friendly, i think they are just overwhelmed with not enough help and too many people. The "cooking class" offered no cooking skills at all. We "learned" how to make tostadas so basically the class started with chicken and beans already being cooked. They had a volunteer shred the chicken and then we all layered the beans, chicken and toppings on there. We learned nothing. I wanted this class to teach me something I don't already know at home. We had even scheduled excursions around this class because my cousin was really looking forward to learning some authentic mexican cooking. This was a total waste of time. Again, the staff was nice but this "class" needs to be dropped or they need to step it up and actually teach some skills. Try to stay in buildings 20-23 - easy access to the market and to the lobby without having to wait for a cart. Give me a thumbs up if this review helped you!

I visited El Café in The Market & was helped by Lucero & Ximena, who fluently talked me through my espresso ordering options & helped me make the most satisfying, economical decision. Thank you to such beautiful, patient ladies!

    Best. Resort. Ever.

We came here by chance a couple years ago and will never stay anywhere else again when going to Cabo! This resort has anything you could ever want! The landscaping is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly! I would like to take a moment to recognize the people who made our vacation more memorable. “Danny Boy” who took us to our room when we arrived and handled our luggage was such a friendly and nice guy! Jonathan Ortega who checked us in got us a room EXACTLY where we wanted to be after initially being disappointed about our first room assignment. Angel and Omar who do pool service at the pool near Tazuna were great! Lucero at the 1950s diner remembered our name every day and was very personable. Pablo who was our server at the 1950s diner was the FRIENDLIEST person we encountered all week! Pablo was so nice and friendly! My family and I LOVE this resort and recommend it to everyone we know thinking about going on vacation!

    Great week

We purchased this as a timeshare in 2016. Unfortunaltey, June 2019 is the first time we have been able to use it. Two couples arrived and had reserved two junior suites. When we arrived, the wonderful Valentina helped us. She got us to have one 2 bedroom instead of two separate units. We were very happy and pleased with this. The room was terrific. The food is terrific. The grounds are terrific. We did not purchase the all -inclusive but we did use room service and the Market. We will definitely return to this place as much as possible. When we a room issue (door would not lock) the repair people showed up within 10 minutes and fixed the issue. Cleaning service was great.

We came in and checked in with Giovanni and he was amazing! He said that he would everything he could to keep our family together on the trip. He was able to keep our entire family together in a villa. He has made our vacation exceptional! He has done all of this with a smile on his face! Thank you Giovanni for all of your hard work. We appreciate all you have done for us!
