    Stayed for a few nights in February 2021 with my family. This is our place of choice for the Tremblant trips (7th or 8th time here), which says a lot. The breakfast is now pre-packed (you can select one of three options, and, frankly, while they lack in variety, the breakfast is still good), and the outdoor pool is closed. Aside from these changes, the location is still second to none, and the hotel is properly maintained. While I understand that an upgrade to a better room is not a right and may depend on availability, it would still be great to proactively offer it to the guests who come here year after year - this is the only thing that may be better.

    Do not book with destina. Absolute bad service. Little background story, we were suppose to be there the weekend of 27th of July but we had something come up and we couldn’t go anymore so we wanted to move it but that’s where it went downhill. Hotel told us to deal with destina as they couldn’t do anything. So we called them up and the person told us we had to cancel and couldn’t move it so he would send us a email to cancel and get the refund policy we paid into action. That’s where the show started. We sent the request and we get a automatic email, in Spanish saying i don’t know what. 2 days later we get another email saying to resend the same refund email we sent to the same address. We sent it back and no answer for another 2 days. We get a answer that says that they are sorry but we need to re-re send the refund email but to another this other email. We did again. Got an answer that said we would get refunded in 3 business days. All that brings us to like August 4-5th 2020. As I’m writing this, were August 15th... and still no refund or answer. Therefore think twice before booking with destina as if you need to cancel you’ll be going through hell to be getting your money back. Very poor service, very bad experience and they just do not care about their clients.

    We just spent 3 days in a one-bedroom suite . The experience was mixed . The location was ideal, right in the heart of the resort village . Staff were uniformly nice and the suite was well equipped with a full kitchen . We got a balcony looking onto the pool and mountains . Our requests for missing items were quickly filled. No breakfast buffet due to Covid . Instead a so-so bagged breakfast was provided . The two biggest misses were the A/C in the den/kitchen didn't cool the bedroom . The other was that the pool was only opened from 10 to 6 and only allowing 9 in the pool at a time (crazy), very few guests got to swim . A line-up started each morning 45 minutes before opening for the privilege of signing up for a 1 hour slot. The sight of this large sunbaked crowd under our room was crazy . Shameful that they didn't extend the pool hours . Access is currently included at the small lake beach a short walk away . That was a better option . Inquire at the hotel. We booked though TravelZoo and got a good rate with parking included .

    Well-located within the village and easy to get to via free transport bus to and from the airport. Welcoming and lovely staff who are well equipt with knowledge and understanding of the hotel, village and community. Excellent rooms, it is generally difficult to find a hotel that serves 3 adults but this room was perfect for us, a apart-hotel so we were able to use the local shops and store them throughout our stay. We were very happy with the breakfast served everyday with a range of food was always fresh and delicious! Family fun evening activities (which we still enjoyed!)

    Everything was great except the steps in hotel hallway

    Overall quality was good. Complimentary breakfast was great. The only complain is that we were assigned to a room at the very end of the hallway on 2nd floor where we need to pass through two sets of steps (each about 4-5 steps) in order to access the room. As family of 5 we have lots of luggage and because of those steps there was no way the luggage cart can access to our room. We had to move our heavy luggage one by one and walked through the long hallway and up and down those steps. Although we understand it is designed around the slope of the hill, it is not a smart design and creates inconvenience to guests. On the second day our son had ski accident and injured his leg. Entire hotel does not even have one wheelchair to assist. We had to put him on dirty luggage cart but yet with the existence of those steps, cart can only help up to the point where the steps begin. This made us extremely difficult to carry him down the steps and walked along the long hallway to get back to the hotel room, and do the same when we checked out the next day. On the other hand, location of the hotel is right at the top of the village. However, note that it is not a true ski in/ski out hotel. Although not all guests may get assigned to room that may have the steps problem, there is always a possibility. Without this issue, overall hotel quality and service and complimentary breakfast is very good. For ski in/out hotel I would not recommend this hotel though.
