We had the BEST service and experience here! From the moment we arrived the concierge had drinks for us, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and housekeeping did turn down every evening. The food was amazing and a great variety. The entertainment in the evening was so fun and the water sports that are included are an extra bonus here. We travel often and have been to many places. We have never received the level of service as we did at this resort. Special thank you to Bradly (Social Director), Kimali (server), Oshane (beach cocktail server), Oshane (cook in the sushi restaurant) and Keidra (hostess in the Mediterranean restaurant) for making our trip EXTRA special! You all are amazing! We can't wait to come back again! RESPECT!

Thank you Jewel for such a great vacation!!

Over the past week, we could not say enough nice words about the staff, maintenance, service and hostess'. It was an amazing experience with your resort and would highly reccomend to friends and family. The friendliness, cleanliness and accommodation of the facility and staff was above par and to be commended. Thank you all for such a great experience

We just returned a few days ago from this Resort. We had been to Jamaica once off a cruise ship to Dunn's River Falls and other than that and never been before. After reading all the reviews here I decided on this Resort and I'm so glad it met all the expectations I had. The only Improvement I could suggest is the rooms are dated but they are clean and comfortable so that is really all that matters in the end, as I don't go to a resort in the Caribbean to stay in the room. The staff are warm and loving and wonderful people, I thoroughly enjoyed all my interactions with them. I also enjoyed the food, I am a very picky vegetarian and found lots of food most times to eat. The Japanese restaurant was the best, they made lots of vegetarian food in the beginning as to not cross-contaminate the meat portion. Later when I asked for extra rice he was very courteous to ask if I was okay with the spatula and tried his best to make sure it was free of any meat residue.(Cook name was "Blackie Chan- excellent job he did!) In the morning, the buffet had lots of choices I had the made to order pancakes every day he did a wonderful job best in any Caribbean island I've ever been to! The free excursions included, the glass bottom boat, konoko Falls, and the shopping trip. We did them all except the shopping trip at the last minute we decided we weren't really there to shop so we cancelled. The konoko Falls by far is the best oh, it is amazing that it is included and these excursions did help me choose this Resort as I felt it put it above the other choices. We stayed in building 5 as we asked for a quiet High floor building. I would definitely recommend if you want to be further away in a quieter section building 5. We enjoyed it and we don't mind walking the resorts not that big so it's not far. But either way we don't mind the exercise. As for the gym it had the essentials as what you expect in the Caribbean. Also you're able to use the kayaks and stand-up paddle boards which is another reason why I chose this Resort. They will also take you out on the hobby cats for tour, as long as it's not too rough. All in all I would return in a heartbeat and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and I'm sad to home.

Resort staff are all amazing. Cleanliness is perfect for inside the rooms and outside. food is lacking in flavor, selection, and cooking technique, updating of rooms is needed you can see lots of wear and tear. Nightly entertainment is blah.

I'll say this first; this will be long and detailed. This is also my second time to Jamaica-first time at this resort. Having to travel alot and staying at different all inclusive resorts, this was my least favorite. First: shout out for their superb service: Elaine, Lascelle -bar, Nekema - bar server, Peter (petah) bar, Mitch-life guard, Judith -manager, Rasheed -server, Merric Adams- chef at omlette since 2017(the best damn omlettes!!!), chef at jade Samauri (couldn't remember his name) & Oleary, kitchen manager. They all provided excellent service. They are the reason for the actual “positive”. -Fridge is stocked daily which is a plus. -They also have an evening bed service, where they come and set ur bed- for bed. Which we declined. The resort itself, overall, is beautiful. It’s small, cozy. The grounds are kept immaculate and you always saw people working at all hours of the day and night. You didn’t get that sense of “people trying to sell you things”, like bigger resorts. And everything was within a few min walk. Which was nice. The pools/beach no longer have “lifeguards” after 4pm. So it’s a swim at your own risk. And after 445, there’s only one bar open by the main lobby. Which kinda sucked if u were at the other end of the resort at the pool. The resort included a few things, like a “shopping trip” at Ocho Rios; literally took us 10 mins to walk the entire area. It was all gift shops w vendors down your throat the minute u step foot in their store. We ended up going to Margaritaville while we waited for the shuttle to pick us ya. It also had a glass bottom tour, snorkeling ect- but because of the “scattered rain daily” none of those things could’ve been done. There’s 2 beaches. One bigger one, and a smaller, rocky one on the farther end of the resort. There’s 3 pools; main one, one in the middle, and one that’s surrounded by rooms. Each has a swim up bar. Food: -Platinum: excellent. Had the best steak and shrimp. -Japanese(reservations only): the best hibachi ever in my life. Excellent. -Pizza: only open like noon -6. Basic pizzas. -Jerk hut: think opened 1-5 daily? Decent jerked chicken. -Italian(forgot the name): mediocre Italian food. -Buffet: only thing opened for Breakfast, with the same food options daily. It was always stocked. The omelette guy make excellent omelette to order. -Coffee shop: good coffee made to order. Dolphin Cove: an excursion outside the resort, excellent experience if you never swam with dolphins, a must. Dunn’s River- a must. And now... the “cons” of OUR trip. **From the beginning, we weren't "greeted" by the front desk. A younger man kind of looked as us funny(being a same sex couple)-and we got there early; told us room will be ready at 3. Didnt give us any guidance or direction on where to go. We kind of just wandered around until we found something to eat. At 3, he glanced at me and said the room wasn't ready. After traveling for hours and just sitting around, close to 415 is when he pointed at me to come up to the desk gave me the room key and pointed to the bellman. Super rude. First impression, not great. Guess it be different if we were PDA, but we weren’t at all; maybe he was having a bad day- but he sucked. **We get to the room.. Nothing fancy. Older furniture, no decor. Basic needs for sleep. One of the nightstand lamps flickered the entire time which was irritating. Bathroom has a shower/hot tub. Now if u are short, u literally have to climb in to shower. The way those are designed is that water goes all over the floor, you having to use 1/2 ur towels to clean up the water. Every single time. And every time had to ask for extra towels. If this is an issue, extra towels should always be provided. **Cabana service: we paid $100 for full cabana service which included a cooler full of drinks and champagne, a server and lunch. What we weren’t told was that the server was also serving everyone else in the beach. So 1/2 the time we went to the bar to get our own drinks. At one point we didn’t see our server for like 2hrs. So that was a bit frustrating. Because for that we just sit at the beach and get served for free. **We were there for Thanksgiving, and there was a “paid bottle service” for your own table. Or u can share a table w 8 other guests. We chose to get a bottle, in celebration. The Server “Nataishia”-Was probably one of the rudest people we came across. We asked for a bottle of Moët & then we had gotten our food(which probably took about 25 mins to go thru the buffet line) she then comes and tells us it was no longer available and the options. So we ordered a different bottle.... we ate our food and even went up for desert.. and by then we were ready to leave. I saw her chatting w other people, instead of informing us what was going on with a bottled we ordered. I’d say it was close to an hour when they were approaching us with a bottle and by then I said we no longer want it. Now I understand it was busy, BUT the least she could’ve done was communicate with us on what was going on. Not come to us an hour later. And when we said we didn’t want the bottle as we had finished eating and we’re just sitting there, she rolled her eyes and said something to her coworker and stormed off. Not good customer service- she should learn from the others above. There were a few other “mishaps” during our trip. I did ask to speak to the manager and for whatever reason the front desk staff kept “holding” off from me speaking to her. I asked for her on two occasions. Just like everyone else, we paid for a trip. I told them I’d wait til she was available because I was frustrated. When I finally spoke to Judith, I explained the issues we had and she did apologize, and compensate us with a bottle of wine and cabana for the day which was nice. Also allowed us to check out later than normal due to our flights being changed. So that was a plus: Needless to say, I wouldn’t personally go back to this resort. Yes it’s a smaller resort, more of a relaxation type, but based on the Cons, I wouldn’t come to JPC.
