We stayed here for my daughter's dance competition. It was nice to have our entire group together and close to the sports facilities. However, the rooms were kinda dated and small. The beds were only full size, so it was very tight for 2 adults. There was a frig in the room which was convient. The 2 pools on site are heated, but no hot tub available. The All-Star Movies and All-Star Sports Resorts are super close, so you can easily walk over there to have other pool or dining options. The only restaurant had limited options and was very expensive. But the price was as expected for staying on Disney property. This resort worked well for us since we really weren't in our rooms much, but I'd probably choose a higher end resort if just going with my family for a vacation.

<3 We just got home from Disney’s all-star music resort and we can’t just thank them enough, they were so great to us during our stay while our daughter got sick, so thankful to this resort!!!! It’s a really cool hotel that we just had to go around and take a lot of pictures of, it was something cool to see in every building! For our needs they had everything and it was perfect and clean, it didn’t matter that it’s a little bit old. We ordered family pizza and brought it to our room, it tasted like a really good American pizza and it was so much food with salad and bread that came with it so it even lasted for lunch for us the day after! They have a big game room that our kids loved, a fun playground, a Disney shop, two pools, an outdoor cinema by the pool at night and a big food court to buy food and coffee so we didn’t miss anything! It felt safe there because they had a gate we’re all of the guests had to show their Id before entering the resort area. Also the buses that goes all the day and took us all the way to the security check in Magic kingdom so we didn’t need too find our own parking and travel from the parking in to the park and with tired feet’s at night it was just to go on a bus and they brought us to the hotel again, perfect! We definitely will come back to this resort next time we travel all the way from Europe to Disney! <3

    Not my first choice.

We stayed here for a cheer competition that my kids were in. I wanted to stay close as I haven’t been to the area before and wanted to make sure we didn’t miss anything. The rooms are dated...very dated and definitely need to be redone or at very least cleaned. They were dirty and dusty. The food court is decent but wouldn’t be my choice for daily eating. The pool wasn’t very busy, which was nice but the weather wasn’t totally favourable for pool time either. The pool is heated which was nice. The staff here is excellent. ZERO issues with the service. We did get whatever we asked for. I have a small child and required a microwave to heat his bottles and they had no problem finding me one. We bought a toaster (only because I didn’t want to go make toast in the food court) there is no coffee machine in the room either but there is a small fridge, which was nice. Overall not a bad place but the rooms are a total turnoff.

We stayed in Jan. 2020 and this was our second stay at the All-Star although we also stayed at All-Star Sports and All-Star Movies. We are a family that hits the parks all day - morning until the fireworks so no need for us to pay high dollar at the Polynesian or Contemporary in which we did stay since we are never in our room. The price for a room and tickets to Disney cannot be beat! We also upgraded to a family suite and is a MUST! Nice to have a kitchen and two baths and our daughter loved having the pull-out bed in front of the t.v. - We would definitely stay here again- no question!

    New rooms...thumbs up

I'm an annual pass holder. I've stayed at many of the WDW resorts. I'm all in for the newly remodeled rooms at the All-Star Music Resort. Our room had one queen bed and a Murphy bed (pull-down) which gave the room more walkable space. A table is attached when the bed is upright and there are 2 chairs. Sliding barn doors for the bathroom are a great touch. The bathroom is sparkling with modern fixtures. Plenty of drawers for clothes, many electrical outlets and ports. There is WDW free Wi-Fi. Each room has a safe to store valuables, mini-fridge, flatscreen tv, and coffee maker. However, here are my down-sides (not complaints). The floor is simulated hardwood and not carpeted. With much hard surfaces the room can become loud. If you have noisy neighbors like I had (a mother screamed at the top of her lungs at her children at 6:30 in the morning) that gets a bit on the loud side. Also, the bed is very firm. The resort itself is pretty much the same. The main Lobby (Melody hall) is check-in, gift shop with souvenirs, snacks, necessities, food court, and arcade. The resorts has 2 swimming pools, outside movies and an pool side bar. Of course, Disney transportation takes you everywhere. With all being said: for $99.00 a night you can't go wrong staying at the Music Resort.
