Best Place in Puerto Vallarta!

First time here with my family and for sure we’ll be back. Hospitality was like no other I’ve ever experienced. This place is just beautiful and breathtaking. Shout out to ALL the staff. Hardworking, professional and always a smile on their faces. Special shout out to the following staff that interacted with us: Adalid at the kids club, Javier Suare X poolside, Carlos Cisneros at Bocados breakfast and poolside service. There were many more, but couldn’t remember all their names. Thank you for making us feel special.
Very disappointing birthday/vacation

We’ve had multiple issues at this resort. Sadly, the front desk folks are truly locking in customer relations. Issues with getting the correct room followed immediately by arrival requests that we weren’t even addressed. I had specifically requested a bottle of wine and chocolates for my husband‘s birthday and I was completely willing to purchase those. After some initial consultation through email to five different people and Facebook messenger, all requests were dropped. I’m not sure what happened, but I do have the names of the people who dropped the ball on this one. After getting into the correct room, we then had issues with no turn down service and no housekeeping during the day. Further to this, the bedding was not even clean. The pillow appears to have what is mascara from possibly a previous guest. It truly is disgusting. I should not have to go to the front desk and beg for housekeeping. They actually lied that a manager was coming to check it out for us and he never appeared. This seems to be happening at Garza right now, they just get you off of their back. The front end staff locks complete empathy for all customer concerns, and are incredibly condescending. It’s such a shame to see this resort that was once so particular about their standards deteriorate in this manner. We still have a good chunk of time at this resort and I’m truly hoping things do improve. It’s been so disappointing for a birthday celebration/vacation. All attempts to actually speak to someone with authority have been without success. I have asked numerous times for these issues to be escalated as I believe those and management should know.
