This resort is beautiful. The pools and beach area are great along with the specialty restaurants and very friendly staff. The activity crew like Abraham and Bryan were so friendly and facilitated volleyball, dancing, and other fun activities during the day for kids and adults. The only downside was the size of our room. We've always had luck with booking the cheapest size, but this one did not have a balcony and was pretty small. The pictures online were a bit deceiving. Overall still a great and relaxing stay though as we were not in our rooms that much.

Only if you get it cheap

Pros: Scenery and views were great. Pools were nice. Food was good when you could get it. Cons: The Asian restaurant was never open and we were here five days. The Italian restaurant was never open and we were here five days. The Mexican restaurant is for members only so you cannot eat there. The sports bar was under construction and never open. So that leaves you with the buffet which was good and the Grill which was also good but since it was the only actual restaurant the lines were long. The hibachi only seats 20 people a night and it’s first come first serve. So you must sign up at 7:30 am and it fills up in minutes. They have a convention center in the hotel. So when the convention shows up they shut down half the hotel for them. A couple nights they block the entire beach for the convention. Another day they blocked the the entire infinity Pool and bar for convention only. (You were not invited) So basically you pay for this resort but only get to use a part of it. This is why I say only of you can get it dirt cheap. If not there are plenty of other places to stay.

We spent a week there with another couple and had a great time. The staff were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Always willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. Elena in housekeeping was excellent. our room perfect every day. The resort was very clean and well maintained. The rooftop SkyBar was so much fun. You have to go to the sunset party, I think its every night at sunset. Singing and dancing and champagne, plus awesome photos. The bartenders Erik and Oscar were terrific. The food was very good. The buffet did not disappoint. Another must is the Oriental Kitchen food preparation show, we were dazzled by chef's masterful showmanship. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean, complete with swim-up bar and lunch buffet was amazing, We could relax there all day. And only steps away from the beach, the Glorious beach. All in all a great time. We would defiantly recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Our stay at the Krystal included my 85 year old parents. We were looking for a compact resort that didn't include a lot of stairs. The Krystal was reduced mobility friendly once you knew where the elevators were. We stayed in the newest ocean view building which was modern and clean and very comfortable. Just note the safes in the room are not secured to anything... The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food quality was average, but there was always a good variety. The main pool was heated which was very nice. We never had a problem finding chairs. It was a nice touch to have the towels rolled up on the chairs. The only negative about the hotel was the way it is laid out it could get fairly loud at night, If a band was playing or the movie night was set up in the main courtyard. If you were ocean front I'm sure you wouldn't notice. Overall it was a great family resort.

Just got home from a week vacation at Reflect Krystal Grand. Our little family of three chose this resort on the premise that it was a 4 star hotel. We were greeted by Trinidad who was a fantastic porter. He was extremely friendly and helpful to us and our 2.5 year old son. We had booked a ocean front room and found we were on the bottom floor with a large shared balcony. We immediately contacted the concierge and they moved us immediately to another room with no issues. We loved the ocean front room. Highly recommend upgrading. The sun sets are spectacular and the morning pod of dolphins were fun to watch. Only downside is its directly above the buffet restaurant and it's quite noisy in the morning, but the sound of the ocean drowns it out. We found the wait staff to be a hit and miss. For the most part they were good. We ate inside most of the time at the buffet. We found the staff more attentive there. We had found a waiter Ernesto that worked at another resort in PV that we had gone to 2 years before and he remembered our family. He is fantastic as well. Buffet food was great. Good variety and always promptly refilled. Lunch at both of the pools were good. Not a huge change in menu daily but a good poolside lunch. We got up early to get our chairs at the infinity pool and spent most days there. The family pool is heated and nice when the weather wasn't super hot outside, we enjoyed cooling off at the infinity pool the most. We didn't play at the beach we found it unbearably hot with our little one. Lots of boogie boarders and body surfers. Great beach for walking. All in all we enjoyed our week away from home at this resort. We would definitely rate it a 3.5 star not 4.
