Super cool i come back.

I love this resort.I was here 2 times but I plane it to come back 3x. staff is very helpful and kind. food is very good. large selection.5 a la carte restaurants there. The best was Yakimeshi. entertainment all day. many programs at the pool on the beach. I can recommend.

Nice time in Punta Cana

Very nice resort, clean and well maintained everywhere including the beach area. Large buffet with great variety of foods. Can sit lots of people at once. Particularly liked the restaurant à la carte but need to book early on your stay. The rooms are large and comfortable, however the A/C was a bit deficient. 3 couples within our family had their rooms changed in the middle of their stay because of that. Liked the gym. Was an issue to get the fridge restock daily with beer . Would certainly consider that resort again for a future trip.

BEWARE - If you book the ocean front big villas - they give you small Jr suites but still charge you the higher rates!

BEWARE - We booked 3 Villa Ocean Front rooms for our "Trip of a Lifetime". We were all family and looking forward to one special vacation. We spent the extra money to get amazing rooms for a week. They do not charge your card until you get there. Upon arrival, we paid for our three rooms and were brought to them. Only ONE was a Villa Ocean Front and it was the wrong style (we requested two beds because the last couple were cousins - not husband and wife). The other two were Junior Suites and one you couldn't even see the ocean! When brought to their attention - they said they would try and fix it. One couple was able to get the correct room the next day but the other couple had to wait 4 days! When asked why they charged us the thousands of dollars more knowing full well we didn't get the correct rooms - they said that is their policy. When people book rooms, they do not block them off. They wait and see what they have available when people arrive. That is NO WAY of doing business. We were so disappointed. We were promised a prorated refund within 25 days. We have sent e-mails with no response and no refund. Three months later - we have no choice but to document this so that others may learn from our disappointment. VERIFY BEFORE they charge your credit card that the ACTUAL room requested is available. As a side note: the ENTERTAINMENT STAFF is AMAZING! If it wasn't for them, we would have been so upset the whole time.

Terrible

Service from butler was terrible. beachcovered in seaweed everyday.said we had a garden view was a view of an alley with trees. Food always cold at buffets. Could not get reservations at all the restaurants then when you go by in person they have empty tables.Maids take things.

Relaxing & "Impressive" Stay

Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews but my i have to say in our experience, everything was great & we had a very relaxing vacation. Upon arrival we checked in quickly (no upselling) & we were driven to a lovely partial sea/beach view ROOM in Block 24 which was cleaned & mini bar re-stocked daily. The grounds are just beautiful and very well kept by all the hardworking staff & we enjoyed taking all the different routes to the restaurants, pools & beach each day. We didn't really spend any time in the POOLS apart from the foam party which is a proper workout & great fun. The BEACH is wonderful and you can walk along in each direction for miles & you will see some of the other hotels, beach bars, shops & restaurants. You will be approached by the locals trying to entice you in to the shops but its all good fun. Beach sellers do walk the up and down trying to make a living but I can honestly say in the 10 days we were there, we were never hassled or felt annoyed by this. The same goes for the hotel staff trying to up sell "time share", day trips & local goods etc. A polite "hola" & "no gracias" goes a long way to ensure you can go on with your day. RESTAURANTS were a bit hit & miss IMO - The Grill was bar far the best & the filet steak excellent. The Japanese was good also & a fun experience. The Italian was OK but we were quite disappointed by the Mexican & often felt we had better Mexican options at the buffet. Overall we were very happy with the main buffet & the small buffet next to the beach. Lots of options for all tastes and there is always something being freshly cooked (meat or pasta). Sometimes there were no plates and of course the food is not going to be piping hot but for a buffet catering for 1000's of people, I thought they did a good job. The snack bar is ok for burgers / pizza & nachos. Its not gourmet stuff but again we had no complaints for a quick snack. ENTERTAINMENT was not bad, some shows better than others in the evening. The white party is good fun as is the silent disco. The entertainment team work very hard and try to get involved with many of the guests, special shout out to Chanel who had some great dance moves :) DRINKS / cocktails at the bar are not too bad, plenty of spirits & the wine served in the restaurants isn't too bad either. The staff are great and work very hard to ensure the drinks are served as quickly as possible. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Impressive, yes there are things which are not 5 star quality & you can always pick fault with things, but for 10 day holiday to relax & unwind it ticked all the boxes.
