    Hotel clean. Hot water. Great breakfast. Beautiful pool. About 20 min from airport. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed one night on our way to limon. Turns out we couldn't get out of the capital the next day due to protest so we cancelled our trip and left the country to our next destination. We had booked a 2nd day when we returned from limon and they cancelled it w no issues due to the circumstances. We really appreciated that.

    Pool and hot tub are great. The grounds are especially lovely. The rooms are simple but well-kept and clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. The staff is the best part of the hotel, all very friendly and eager to help.

    I was harassed by a man looking to fight me in so called security personal Oscar Garcia brown. The front staff manager at night refused to listen to me, accusing me of not booking my room for two even after I had it on my reservation and did not apologize after he was found out to be wrong. His name is Andrew Alvarez. I do not recommend coming here when you have these unprofessional, people who make judgements about hotel guest based of fantasy instead of facts. If they had just asked me did I reserve my room for two guest they would not had a reason to yell at me and get blood shot eyes over me bringing a guest back. They need to learn how to develop good communication skills and not watch so much tv. The manager during the day was professional and actually listen to me when I explained my grievance regarding the aforementioned events during the night shift. He also addressed the fact that they did not even have my proper room when coming for the first night which was ridiculous. At least he looked into the system regarding reservations instead of assuming about me which no doubt was assured by the fact that I have stayed at the hotel before and he dealt with me in the past. However that should not matter when you have paying guest at a hotel.

    After 10 days in Costa Rica at nice but very small, limited service hotels, Best Western was a welcome end to our trip. Modern, clean, nice pool, free breakfast that was accommodated for our early departure by giving us vouchers to use at the in-house Denny's. The staff was very patient and helpful. I wouldn't recommend spending much time in the city of San Jose itself, but the Best Western was very nice.

    Easy checkin process. Very friendly at the front desk. Lots of parking spaces and security guard present. Room clean and comfortable bed! Cafe at the hotel had good food with good service and an outside eating option!
