If you check in during normal daytime hours, you will not be greeted but rather questioned with a sharp, “can I do something for you?” by the old receptionist that treats each guest like an inconvenience. You’ll probably try getting into your room after you escape the hag at the front, but alas your key cards won’t work. In fact, you’ll probably need to get 10-15 replacement key cards during your trip. Once in your room you’ll find stains on your bed and excessive layers of sheets that attempt to make up for the lack of blankets. But make sure to keep those sheets and towels clean! They only service your room every THREE DAYS. but they don’t tell you that until after you’ve ran out of towels and blankets. If you’re lucky enough to snag a “pool side” room, just know the outside door does not lock and you can’t open it or lock it from the outside. The only saving grace for this place are the bomb bar tenders and Zachary the overnight shift receptionist. If you’re trying to save money and don’t plan on spending much time in your room, this might be ok. But for anything else, spend the extra buck.

Pool was warm and excellent! Hotel was in decent shape after going through a pandemic. The location was the best part! Right on the #1 beach in the US. White sand and clear ocean! They have a bar on site, ordered 4 pina coladas and it cost me $50-sounds about right for a touristy bar! Didn’t get another drink, instead I went to Publix and bought my own and the state liquor store is directly across the street! The only complaint I have was it was kinda dirty but the hotel is suffering getting help right now due to pandemic, and I saw people working around the clock! Would book here again!

    NEVER AGAIN

DO NOT stay here. Rooms are very out dated. We have not had cleaning service the past two days. Yes, i know this is Florida but roaches in the room. Came back to a bathtub full of water due to a drip, a few more hours and the room would have been flooded. I have looked every morning and every night for an opening in the area to be able to move my family out of this place. DISAPPOINTED

We just returned from a six night stay here. The location is fantastic. Publix and CVS are across the street. There are several great restaurants in walking distance. We loved Burgerish in the Publix plaza and Buona... also in this plaza. Caddy’s was great, as was Sea Hags. Was not impressed with Crabby Bill’s. The pool and beach are beautiful. The towels they give you work well for a shower, but are not great for the pool. The flippers beach bar was good. The food and drinks were delicious, but the resort was full and the lines were very long. Don’t even think of getting breakfast at the restaurant in the lobby. It is a total disaster. Two people working with a full resort is not enough!! The room we stayed in was the cheapest one. We are not in the room a lot so I didn’t have high expectations and that was a good thing. The bed was comfy... but it felt like we were in a dungeon. We looked out into the parking lot and we were on the bottom floor. It was a little to dreary to be there for 6 nights. The people at the front desk were not the best. Not friendly at all. I would definitely stay here again!! I would just pay the extra money for a better room, and I would hope they would have more people working the bar and restaurant if the resort was full!!

    Can’t beat the location!

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is 30 minutes from the airport, with traffic, but the spot is perfect for anyone who wants to be right on the beach and in walking distance to restaurants and a small shopping center. Room- The room is very basic but we selected the cheapest. If you are picky about your room, this wouldn’t be the place. The room is outdated and nothing fancy. It worked for us because we didn’t spend much time in the room. Bed was comfortable. There is a large closet and safe. There is a kitchen area with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Staff- The staff was friendly! Parking- It costs $10.50 a day to park. Pool- Pool and pool area were large and facing the beach. Perfect view! There are lounge chairs. The lobby provides towels for the pool. There is an outdoor shower by sand. Flipper’s Beach Bar- This is between the pool and the beach. Food was fantastic! Service was great! Drinks were awesome! We ate lunch here daily since it was between the pool and beach and so convenient. All outdoor seating, some covered but great view and quick service. I would stay here again just because of this convenience. There is another breakfast restaurant inside the hotel but the service was so bad we left without ordering. Beach- The hotel does not offer towels or beach chairs. There is a cabana rental right in front of the hotel. The double cabana was $25/day or 2 chairs and an umbrella for $25/day and you can stay in them until sunset. The beach was very clean. It was low key and the water was calm. If you want to collect shells and/or see a beautiful sunset, this is the place. Restaurants- Captain Bills (dinner), Rum Runner’s (lunch/dinner), Harry’s Beach Bar (breakfast), & Coconuts (lunch/dinner) are all easy to walk to from the hotel. It’s a pretty walk on the beach to these spots. Again, the location and beach/pool made it a great stay. I would definitely go back!
