Oxygen needs

As of September 15, 2021, WestJet will not accept new reservations for travel with gaseous oxygen. Guests with existing reservations to travel with gaseous oxygen will be permitted to travel with their oxygen as originally booked.

Although WestJet does not provide medical oxygen for purchase on board, we may accept certain gaseous oxygen and portable oxygen concentrators on some of our aircraft. We strongly recommend that you advise us of any oxygen needs a minimum of 48 hours prior to travel as there are restrictions on the equipment types and amounts that can be accepted. If you do not provide adequate notice, you may be denied travel.
