A wonderful resort with so much to do! Or nothing to do at all, but relax. The whole resort is available to you even if you're staying at The Coral. So many pools, restaurants and lounges. Something for every age. Water slides, dolphins, turtles and so much more. We didn't have a problem finding lounge chairs at any of the pools.

very modern in many ways and the view out toward the ocean and pool was great. It is near everything except the Royal pool and slides but that is no big deal. The elevators were a little slow but not so bad. The Sun / Ice restaurant was in the same building. I have been to the resort at least 10 times and it is great for family and couples

After reading some of the reviews on the Atlantis properties, I was a little worried about our stay at the Coral. That was needless worry...We had an absolutely amazing time! The check in process was smooth, the staff was very friendly, and the property....was stunning! We had a king terrace room which had a beautiful view overlooking both the sea turtles and manta ray lagoons. The bed was reasonably comfortable but very spacious. Once you get on property, you won’t want to leave. The aquariums and scenery are breath taking. Add in the water park and the many pools along with beach access and it was just the type of relaxing vacation we needed. The food was expensive as expected but we packed food for PB&J sandwiches, bagels, etc to cut costs. There is a Dunkin Donuts that is about a 2 minute walk away and a Starbucks in the hotel lobby area. Try the cinnamon pretzel at Starbucks... you will NOT be sorry! The only thing I wish we had more access to was reasonably priced bottled water. The restaurants on property have filtered water for free if you buy meals, but the water filler in the water park has gross tasting water and everywhere else you will pay $5 for a bottle of water. We felt a bit dehydrated the whole time there....and that was the only downside of the trip. I highly recommend the Coral and the Atlantis property in general. Also, do the Swim in Wonder at Dolphin Cay...life changing!

I had heard a lot about the property but went in with eyes wide open. Note - this stay was over Thanksgiving and there was a basketball tournament going on. The Good - Although showing some age, the pools and slides were world class. Kids had a blast. Some days were a bit crowded with cruise ship people coming in but generally the lines weren't too long. If you head down around 8:50 am to get your daily bracelets - we had no trouble getting the chairs we wanted. The beds were comfortable. The food was good but very pricey. As bad as staying at the Ritz. The staff was friendly except for Murray's Deli. I would avoid that place. For the most part everything was very clean. Plenty of options in walking distance. Casino and Sports book were fine but really need a poker room. Basketball tourney was a fun experience. The Bad When I checked in, they noticed my top status on Marriott and said we should have no problem upgrading you. Then they noticed I paid in points and front desk agent changed his demeanor instantly after conversing with a colleague who was watching. Not the first time this has happened and I get it. I'm not a revenue generating customer on this trip. But my answer back to this person and all of Marriott - how do you think I earned my 5m+ points? I EARNED THEM by giving you a ton of revenue earlier. Prices are sky to eat although by the pools wasn't too bad. For dinner - expect to pay through the nose. Some of the lounge chairs at the pool/slides need to be replaced. The UGLY Walls in the room are paper thin. Heard our neighbors the entire trip including all their activities if you get my drift. That was fun explaining to the kids. I got an email after our first night asking how everything was. I asked for a room change because of the noise. Got zero response. Don't ask me how I'm doing and then not respond. Room was comfortable but bathroom had a running toilet and a ceiling access tile that kept dropping down. Also, one night - no HOT water. Staff at Murray's Deli was terrible. Wait staff down to the hostess. The need serious training. Avoid.

I am going to start off by saying our “resort” was paid for in points. We stayed from Sunday and checked out Friday morning. I also want to add that when we checked in, we had a $750 incidental deposit charge until checkout. Pretty hefty. Taxi: We had to leave the “resort” at 5:30am. We asked the staff the night before information regarding taxis. We were informed that taxis at the “resort” were 24/7. Upon arriving out front at 5:30am, there was no staff inside or outside. Luckily, there was 1 taxi waiting. Good idea would be to book your taxi the night before if you have an early flight. Food: Food prices were increased incredibly unless you went across the bridge and ate downtown....which had better food anyways. The cheapest meal we found was two beef hot dogs and fries at Murray’s Deli (On the “resort”) for around $13 after tax and tip. Unfortunately, everything has a tax and tip included even if the service was slow - this includes everything. Also beware, the pizza is horrible at Marina Pizzeria. A 12” pepperoni was $29- we threw most of it away. Save your money and take the water taxi across and get lunch. (Also, village grocery across the street from Atlantis price gouges. A package of chips ahoy was $11. Just FYI- stop at a grocery store on your way in from the airport). “Resort” staff: Everyone was incredibly nice UNTIL we had an issue on our last night. We went back to our room around 8:30pm, planning to shower and head to bed as we needed to leave by 5:30am. Our shower wouldn’t even turn on. Our sink only had cold water and the hot water wouldn’t turn on. We called multiple times and were told different things every time. We ended up heading downstairs around 10:30pm and they only had one manager on staff. While waiting, another group said their room smelled like sewage. Two other people were waiting to speak with the manager as well. Turns out, one of the men had a laptop stolen from there room. FYI- either put the sign in your door to not be cleaned or hide your personal belongings. They actually only cleaned our room once during our stay so I guess we got lucky. We were refunded one night resort fees ($65) but still didn’t have water. They gave us a key (only after asking) to shower in another room! Overall, Atlantis is fun to walk through and hangout at. We did really enjoy our trip up until our last night.. But I wouldn’t spend money or points to stay here again. The water park is luckily included with stay but otherwise it’s over $160 per person. The whole place is a tourist trap including food. You are better off staying at Baha-Mar.
