Great first time visit to AZ Biltmore
Joe T on Mar 23, 2024
Recent 4 day stay at the AZ Biltmore was excellent. Beautiful, well kept, historic facility. Great location, convenient to shopping, airport etc. We stayed in the original building, which has nice size rooms and interesting architecture throughout. Of course food/drinks/services are pricey, but that goes with the high level of service you receive. Highly recommend a day visit to Sedona, it's worth the 2 hour drive..... PS Special thanks to Dominique at the front desk, who went out of her way to match our specific room needs.
Frolic In A Multitude Of Outdoor Amenities.

A pleasurable, amenity-ladened, 39 acres, the Arizona Biltmore is located in a central burb of Phoenix encased in an eye-catching blend of contemporary and desert architectural styles while the interior maintains it's Art-Deco feel. Packed with perks such as an adults-only pool, a massive 65' water slide for kids, a Pan-Latin restaurant, a new age Spa, 2 exceptional golf courses, 7 tennis courts, 7 swimming pools, 4 pickle ball courts, fitness center....and more amenities to blow your mind. There are 9 lavish room accommodation categories including suites, cottages and villas. My suite enveloped neutral tones of beige & grey that mimic desert colors and consumed a furniture footprint of a bench, lounge chair, desk, side tables and a chest of drawers. The bath was outfitted with dual sink and roomy shower. The Biltmore has a host of dining and drinking options. The Spire Bar: with it's waterfall. fire-pits and artistic lighting Is a superstar outside hub for communal entertaining, the Wright Bar epitomizes the engineering mind of FL Wright, McArthur's: is a casual indoor/outdoor bistro where I consumed a delightful and comprehensive breakfast, and Renata's Hearth: is the main dining room offering exotic Latin cuisine. The hotel sports a modern-age spa (Tierra Luna Spa) that leans into astrology, crystal and astrology-inspired treatments. These regimes elevate the bodywork to a level far exceeding the value of usual offerings. The Spa houses 12 treatment rooms with a range of curated therapies inspired by the surrounding Sonoran Desert. The spa is configured with the Sol Garden, a comforting thoughtful outdoor space complementing the spa. I utilized this space for some meditative routines. On the design front, Tierra Luna is accented with earth tones and natural materials in keeping with honoring the surrounding Sonoran landscape. So, if you would like to soak up the beauty of a Frank Lloyd Wright design in a family friendly environment ................then try the ..........Arizona Biltmore.................................... .......frolic in a multitude of outdoor amenities.
Stay here. Eat somewhere else.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff fabulous. The food is another story. The scrambled eggs, for some reason, have the consistency of custard. I had a Wagyu New York Strip that was grissley and tough. When I order a $120.00 steak I expect a great steak. This was not it.

Whether you stay here or not, touring this beautiful building is not to be missed! The architecture is amazing and the stories, the personnel, the beauty are something to behold. Frank Lloyd Wright fans, it’s a must see! After the tour, have a drink in the outside bar, it’s terrific, delicious, and fun!
Solid property, ease up on the upsells

I was here for a conference and had a good stay overall. The good - beautiful property, great food, comfortable room. The less good - at check-in, I was given a very noisy room above the main lobby. When I asked for a quieter room, they tried to upsell me multiple times (at a discounted $250 per night due to Diamond status) before moving me to a golf villa on the far side of the property. The new room was a little dated and quite far from the conference, but definitely quiet. So ultimately fine. Appreciate that the hotel was quite full from the conference, but the attempted upsell(s) were unpleasant and not handled very well.
