I've stayed here multiple times in a King bungalow room. The rooms are beautiful, each room as its own little private patio and outdoor entrance. The rooms are also immaculately clean when you arrive. They offer FULL SIZED shampoo/conditioner/body wash/soap/lotion. Way less wasteful this way, and it smells amazing. The showers are big enough for 15 people and have 2 shower heads! Its like a tiny room. The grounds are WELL landscaped, they must spend a fortune on underground watering systems to keep their grass so beautiful! The pool and cabana area is great, the hotel restaurant is amazing. All the staff is super helpful. They have a complimentary golf cart drop off/pick up service within a short distance, including grocery stores! Which is nice if you want to run get snacks/drinks etc and not have to lug your bags back! Overall highly recommend.

Everything was top notch. This is our new Arizona vacation 'home'! We have a group of doctors that we bring out here every year for the Andaz to host and they have over-delivered each time. Great rooms, great staff and service. Can't wait to come back.

I stayed four nights over the 1st weekend of May. The grounds are spectacular. The rooms ("casitas") have modern furniture and the single level casitas create a sense that you’re on a restful vacation in another time. The casitas have updated modern furniture and the management photos of the grounds and casitas are as depicted. There are so many birds! Sitting on my patio with morning coffee and listening to the birds was an unexpected pleasure. The beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. There was plenty of hot water (the water seems soft.) The remodel from whenever ago addressed one of my pet peeves: Outlets and USB ports next to the bed. Andaz has plenty! Housekeeping is currently limited due to covid but the staff immediately took care of overnight bird droppings on my patio. The main pool is a Covid petri dish with cheek-to-jowl 20/30 somethings standing in the water and drinking to fairly loud music into the evening. There are two other pools that are much quieter and less crowded. Unfortunately for parents, the other two pools are adults only. Room tips: Do not stay next to the main pool. It’s a party atmosphere with live music until fairly late. Buildings 15, 16, 19, 20, 23 and 24 are close to the pool and would be especially risky noise-wise. I have to say that despite the main poolside ambience the resort really did not give off a party place vibe. I advise asking for a room that has a short patio wall. Many rooms on the edge of the property face the parking lot area and the wall around those patios is quite tall and confining to the point of being claustrophobic. It serves as a barrier to the parking lot but feels cramped. The short patio walls (this is most of the rooms) allows you to look out over the lovely grounds and the breeze comes into the patio quite nicely. I had specifically asked for a short wall and their reservation staff committed that I would be so assigned but -- of course – I was placed in 31F which is a tall wall unit. I spoke up and they moved me but the carpet in the next room -- 8D -- was somewhat stained. The place is pricey and I wanted an unstained carpet. The very nice and accommodating staff actually went to several rooms to visually inspect the carpets then moved me to 12C which was delightful. The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful. The left (south?) side of the grounds have the best location for casitas because it is closer to the two other pools that are quieter (as well as the fitness center, which is nice.) Buildings 7, 9, 12, 13 and 14 on that side are best because they don’t ring the parking lot and all their casitas have the short-wall patio, but the other buildings are just as nice PROVIDED you have a casita that is facing the grounds, not facing the parking lot. I took a picture of the resort map for you. The casitas have mini-fridges and the staff will bring you a microwave. I even saw a barbeque on one of the casita patios so I assume those are available as well. I had a burger at the restaurant for lunch one day but didn’t otherwise eat there so I can’t speak to the food (the burger was good.) There’s a Trader Joe’s and an Einstein Bagels just a short walk away. That’s all I can think of. They shouldn’t have put me into a backward-facing room with a tall, confining patio wall after promising me otherwise, but other than that I would highly recommend this property.

Love it. Beautiful grounds. Quiet and peaceful. The bungalow rooms were perfect size. Wish we were able to stay more nights. Multiple pools And night time lanterns make a great addition. Camelback mountain can be see. In the distant. Excellent food choices nearby.
