Confusingly excellent!

The service is impeccable ! I especially took notice to Sherlyn Gracia she was excellent in service and giving directions and instructions. I will say this, the food doesn’t match the level of service. I understand that the food is free but to be a five star resort with 3 star buffet food is blasphemy honestly. I also will add that there should be a way to connect your phone to location beacon on the grounds to tell you exactly where you are and directions to where you are trying to get to. Like a covered tablet type device. Which leads me to my final point the internet connection needs work to say the least more jumpers concealed around the resort for WiFi connectivity and maybe some type of towers for actual service.

The concierge Adrian was very helpful in navigating around the resort in making reservations and activities. Also the front desk and carts were very helpful in getting us around. As well as the food was great@!

I’m going to start by saying that the beach picture they have on their website is not the same you will find when you arrive. There is NO BEACH at all and the smell is terrible! It’s just the ocean water in a bed of seaweed! Period! Your only option is to stay at the pools but don’t expect the recreation to entertain you or your family. There is barely any recreation or music. The night shows are outside. If it rains, no show! There was no consistency with the hotel. Wifi is NOT INCLUDED with most reservations and the price depends on the staff mood. It could range anywhere from free (if they are in a good mood) to $100 per device. After meeting a couple of people I noticed that everyone was offered a different upsell at check in. I was told I could upgrade to an oceanfront view for an extra $700. Others were told it would be $150. Some were offered a plunge pool with the extra fee and some were upgraded for free to a 1 bedroom. The front desk and concierge are the ABSOLUTE WORST. All the nice restaurants you see on the website, you may not be able to have dinner there as reservations are required and they never have reservations available. I was able to book a reservation 3 days after I arrived and the only time they had was 9:30pm. My only option was to eat at the only buffet restaurant available for 3 consecutive days. I’ve stayed at many resorts in Mexico and by far this is the worse resort. I do have to give credit to the cleanliness. The resort was very clean and well maintained. No one at the front desk or concierge tried to make anything better. Aside from the joy of being with my family, I’m extremely disappointed with the hospitality at this property, especially the front desk and concierge. I asked to speak with the manager and was told that “he” was very busy. Our family will NOT be returning here and will NOT be recommending this property to anyone. In fact we will be warning everyone to stay away unless you don’t care about a beach, good food or getting scammed.
was nice

I have been to Mexico 5 times and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Very poor customer service and hospitality. In order to go to the restaraunts on site you need to make a reservation .. only allowed to make 2 reservations per day and the restaraunts are basically booked.. you have options of going at 430 or 9pm. They advertise all inclusive but are limited to what that means.. asked to speak to a manager and was told there is not a manager on site. For the price point there are much nicer hotels which are more accommodating .. this has been by far my worst trip here .. entertainment is limited and staff is not very helpful .. I would stay at any RIU hote before I would choose one of these hotels!!
