Horrible. Book elsewhere. The check-in process was unfriendly, not the least bit welcoming, yet extremely lengthy. I’m writing this review from the hotel lobby since they apparently fumbled my room and it’s not ready. This is not how you want to spend your first moments after a long day of international flights. Both employees I’ve interfaced with have been incredibly rude. After a very long wait, one of them basically tossed my key at me without so much as a word of apology or welcome or anything. Is this how Hyatt Regency in Calgary treats international customers?

This hotel is well located in downtown Calgary. The Core mall was a couple of blocks down Stephen Ave and right across the street from it was Bankers’ Hall, which had an excellent food market that we used for breakfast and lunch. There was a C-Train right outside the hotel as well. We ordered room service once and it was very good and the server who brought it up was lovely. The only negative was the high cost of parking, but that seems inevitable in downtown Calgary.

This hotel is perfectly situated to explore downtown Calgary. Next to the Calgary Tower, on walking distance of many good shops, pubs and restaurants. In 5 minutes you're on the highway and Calgary is on your feet. Very friendly staff, nice coffee shop with plenty of stuff to start the day. Clean room and bath. No complaints

Like cleaning the phone - makeup was still on from the last guest/user of the hotel room phone. No natural sweeteners available in rooms, like honey. That was a room service request, which seemed wild. Hotel is great, just a one off experience with housekeeping this time IMO.
