RUN AWAY FROM THIS RESORT!! GO ELSEWHERE!

I would never recommend this resort to anyone! We have been to Cozumel several times and was looking to try a different resort! What a MISTAKE! Do not waste your money on this place and again, these comments are my opinions: PROS: Coffee Shop employees were fabulous and deserve a gold star for putting up with entitled guests! The room was very nice, and the balcony w/that ocean view was beautiful. CONS: The staff member at the front desk barely greeted us, informed us of the sanitation tax and "requested to be paid in CASH"!! needless to say, he did not receive the payment in cash! The staff never greeted us or even looked at us when we would enter or leave the resort! The food was less than desirable. There was no lobby to sit in and have a drink in the evenings. Their lobby consisted of their front desk and their Vacation Club Staff hounding you to join their time share club. I could go on and on, but I think you get the gist! Overall, we will NOT be going back to Grand Park Royal.
Visitor tax from Canada

we are going on Sunday April 14 from Toronto via AC. Just an FYI, you do not need to pay the visitor tax (I called AC and they confirmed)...it's already included. Call your airline to confirm. I will do a full review after our trip. I am looking forward to this trip.
