My wife and I went to Santa Barbara Beach Resort specifically for the reputation of great tennis as well as a 5 star PADI Dive shop. Both exceeded our expectations. First, the tennis: There are 4 outstanding clay courts watered from beneath, so no time needed for sprinklers. They were kept in outstanding fashion. The pro, Jon Kooy, was outstanding. We had a semi-private lesson as well as Jon setting us up with a well matched local couple to play some mixed doubles. Also, there was a great social night involving mixing up doubles play along with adult beverages afterwards. Great people, great pro- well worth the stay for tennis alone. The diving was also outstanding. We had a total of 7 dives; 5 with Miguel and 2 with Hugo. We also took advanced open water course. Their attention to safety as well as fun was outstanding. We had 5 shore dives and 2 boat dives. The reefs were healthy with multiple fish, sea horses, rays. No large animals. The wreck of the Superior Producer (can only be dove when no cruise ships are around) was a great dive. If you stay at the resort, you definitely need to rent a car- it is about 1/2 hour to town. Nite life is minimal, rooms were clean and staff was attentive. We did not play golf but the course looked in great shape. Food on the property was good. If you were not into tennis/diving/golf then other resorts closer to town would likely be a better choice.

Clean, well maintained hotel located in quiet and safe area. To get there the car is required. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is direct access to the beach from the hotel. There are 2 swimming pools for the guests. Breakfast includes healthy products and eggs dishes can be prepared upon request. The hotel has few types of restaurants: Asian bar, Italian, elegant a’la carte, beach bar. Sports: It is possible to participate in pilates or the yoga classes. The gym is open 24h. There is water sports centre on the beach. It is great place for a dream holiday in the Caribbean.

We felt very welcome, and we always felt at peace and relaxed. Our room was nicely decorated for our honeymoon. We loved the sea traditions and the private pool. Room service was well done. We really enjoyed the staff everywhere we went. Brit at the front desk was super knowledgeable and very friendly with us the whole stay. The people who helped us to our room and also during checkout were all very happy and fun. The guy at the burgers and beers was very good and very happy too. We liked getting drinks at Splash. Going to the dive shop and eating at Boca 19 were also nice offerings while on the grounds. Hugo at the dive shop gave us an amazing snorkel trip, and we highly recommend doing the Tugboat snorkel trip. The meditation hike was also extremely enjoyable and fun. Our only issue was that we could not jet ski because the instructors jet ski was broken! It was a bit of a tease, but Maria did her very best to fix it. She was kind and awesome to be around. Other than this minor hiccup, we had a great time! The beach on the grounds is clean and pretty. The water is great, and snorkeling there was also fun and easy.

Had an absolutely wonderful time. The resort itself is beautiful. Rooms are clean. Food was delicious. Our bartender (Glen) and waitress (Karen) were the best. Very attentive and informative about the island. Would highly recommend this establishment.

We loved our stay here. The staff were great. Great front desk employees. Resort was top notch, not a bad thing to say about it. Rented a car at the hotel for a week. Went out for dinners. Had breakfest included at the hotel, very nice. Found nice places to eat on the island. Went to some beaches off the resort but found the beach at the resort was best, Use to all inclusive, Trying eating off the resort was good. Been to Aruba the past 3 years. Curacao is a small step down but is a bit cheaper. For sure this is the best resort on the island. We checked out other hotels. You need a car if you do not have a meal plan. Food outside the resort at resteraunts is reasonable and good. Food at the resort is 5 star but very pricy.
