    This place is not a resort at all it is a glorified Super 8 Motel. They should show photos of the exterior showing the hallways so people can see that it is a "Motel" setup and not an actual standard "Resort/Hotel" setup with interior hallways which provides for better security. They say the hotel just went through a complete renovation. It certainly does not look that way. The hallway floors are disgusting and don't look like they ever get cleaned. Rooms are standard, not very clean, beds are uncomfortable, bath tub does not drain and room smelled like mold. I notified the hotel and did not get any response. Besides when I went to the front desk to get new towels and the manager said she got my email. A response would have been nice. Pool areas could use some cleaning. The pool bar is disgusting and probably never gets cleaned the smell is horrendous, could not stand near it because of the stench. Hotel charges a $35 dollar resort fee and they say that covers your beach towels. That fee is a joke, they limit you to one towel per person if they even have the towels. There was several times in the morning where they did not have any towels to give out and they would typically run out of fresh towels at 2/3:00 pm. The towel hut says to go to the front desk and then they say go to the towel hut. I have never stayed at a hotel where they run out of towels. The front desk would have to send someone to a vacant room to get fresh towels to hand out. You can't charge someone $35 a and say that includes towels when you don't have them to hand out. You should also give guest two per person so they can use one for the chair. This seam to be a ongoing issue with reading prior reviews. Its sad that they still have not corrected this issue. It really shows that management doesn't care. Overall staff is nice besides the front desk staff. I saw someone state that they had elevator issues and the hotel responded stating that there were no issues with their 5 elevators. They did have elevator issues, it was out of service one night and the repair service company was there 2 out of the 7 nights we were there. Hotel has potential, but management doesn't actually read the reviews nor takes action on them. The first start would be cleaning, better customer service at front desk and always have fresh towels 24/7. You can't charge a resort fee and not deliver on it. The food is good same with the breakfast buffet, watch your charges though. If you prepaid for it and had it included, you really need to watch your print out. They had to remove a couple of the charges. They could also be a little more green and sustainable and use less plastic disposables, especially being on the beach and water. They must not know about the plastic issue in the ocean and have huge landfills for being a small island.

    This resort was nice but is a bit pricey for what you get. The one real big drawback is the fact that you can not lock the bathroom door. It is a sliding door that would cover the entrance to the bathroom but was easy to open. We spent more time out of the room vs in the room so it was not so bad. I will say that if you want to go to the pool side bar do it before or after happy hour. Otherwise it takes forever to get a drink. I would also recommend going to the local grocery store which is only 5 minutes away and purchasing food. The refrigerator was small and for some reason on the refrigerator it said it is for cooling only? The room did not come with a microwave but it looked like there was a place for one and possibly you could ask. I would not be surprised if they wanted to charge an extra 10 bucks a night for it though. Overall we had a good experience but for the price if I were to stay at this property again I would probably look at one of the rental properties vs the "resort". You get all of the same amenities and bathroom doors that close.

    Great place! Great atmosphere and staff! Bartender was very attentive and welcoming. We arrived when we got of the cruise ship. They were not very busy. Drinks were great and staff was very engaging. Fins up!

    Great place to stay for our family. Thtee pools. conveniently located. Had bikes, paddle boards and kayaks to use as well. We would come back to stay here. Did not know about the resort charge that was asssessed daily.

    The hotel is new and the rooms are really nice. It is a great location to walk just about anywhere. The problem is the beach. There re few umbrellas for the amount of people and not enough chairs, I came down one morning at 9 and ALL the umbrellas were taken but not many people were sitting by them just towels. That is another problem They have run out of towels several times.
