Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa

We would have been happier at an airbnb. The restaurants were overcrowded and their is only breakfast room service. It's difficult to find food after 9:00 and you get tired of eating the same few dishes at the restaurant that is open late. Some of the staff is rude and if you don't use the 40.00 a day valet service it's a pretty long walk to your car and the parking spaces are compact so you can hardly even get in and out of your car.

It is worth it to get an ocean view room! Especially if you like taking pictures. Ask for the lahani tower if you want to hear the luau each night they have it Fri, Sat, Sun. If you want quiet don't get a room over here in big tower, it is loud but we loved it! Hotel service is excellent they treat you like royalty. I would not eat in breakfast restaurant unless you are hungover and cant taste anything anyway, my niece with one year of culinary out of city college could do better with eggs. Suggest new chef for breakfast. The salsa has not taste better not to serve mexican in hawaiian. The pork was tasteless too maybe that is what they were going for? Pool is AMAZing, Bar staff awesome especially "Maryln" blonde bartender, I lost my CC and she helped me look was very empathetic when i was losing my mind looking for my card. I would go back!

The best place to stay. I felt like everything was available here and there was no need to leave. Each staff member was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is perfect - right on the beach and just enough south to miss the tradewinds so you don't get blown away while beaching it! I've planned another trip back here already! Great stay at Hyatt. The one thing that has to improve was the breakfast at Swan Court. It was not good and we have been to this Hyatt over 12x in the past without any food issues. The service was good and the hotel looked good.

My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon. I advise that you make reservations for at least a month in advance for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The unfortunate instance was that my wife contracted ringworm on her body either from the bed sheets or towels. When I contacted the hotel in regards to this, the receptionist took down my information and said someone would get back to me. It has been over a week now and still nothing.
