Great location, nice people

The hotel is situated in an exceptional location. Directly across the street lies downtown Kailua Kona, an area renowned for its abundance of quality dining options. The accommodations, while clean, are notably compact, akin to the spatial constraints one might encounter aboard a cruise ship. The range of amenities provided by the hotel is somewhat restricted, which calls into question the justification for the substantial resort fee charged. However, it is important to acknowledge the commendable service provided by the staff, all of whom I found to be exceedingly friendly and accommodating. This establishment can be accurately described as a pleasant three-star hotel benefiting from a prime location, though it does not meet the criteria typically associated with a luxurious resort hotel.
URINE ON THE NEW ROOM’s bed!!

I was having an ocean room with two double beds and checked in at 5:30.After I came back from dinner at 9 pm and started jumping into one bed, my legs are feeling wet in the quilt. I tried to call the housekeeping but nobody answer. The front desk sent someone to observe what kind of liquid it is. They quickly found out it is URINE on the bed!!!!!!!which is so gross. I quickly ran to take the shower again. The cleanliness is terrible and I don’t think they actually change everything before the new guest came.
Good location....

This hotel is in a good spot, close to restaurants and shopping. The beach and pool are very small making it hard to find a place to relax. We paid for an ocean view room but you have to look over a ton of roof top to see the ocean. Overall I would probably look for a different place next time we are here.
2 star hotel

More of a 2 star hotel experience than a resort. Way overpriced with lots of extra add ons as well. One can get a true resort experience at a lower or the ssme price in wiakoloa just 30 min north. Pictures are not how the place really looks. Definitely, you do not get what you pay for here.
Looks Nice But Service Reminds Me of Motel 6

We just arrived today and we are off to a very bad start. Upon arrival the guy in the baggage area “you don’t have that much stuff so you?” And did not move from his perch. We had three giant suitcases. I unloaded them myself as I could not possibly tip the guy after his greeting. He made no effort to help at all. He should not have that job if he is not going to do anything. There is no valet parking so he has nothing to do but bags There is no valet parking here but there is instead open air parking lot for $31/day. I would happily pay more for valet - just offer it as a service. We were given a sheet of paper to put in the dash indicating we paid the $31/day. Interestingly enough only about half the cars had some sheets similar suggesting compliance is low. We reserved two connecting rooms paying a fair amount extra for that privilege. We arrived and not only were the rooms not connecting they were on different levels away from each orhwr. After about 20-25 minutes we got connecting rooms but o my after we had to get a second person to make the change. Since the restaurants close at 9 we had to scramble after the lengthy check in just o not get shut out By the way the baggage guy never offer us a cart either The WiFi in the room does not work either I am a Diamond platinum or something like that - so we were offered a sift - continental breakfast for 2 people - we had a party of four or 1,000 bonus points. How cheap can they be - don’t even mention the continental breakfast for only 2 people if we have four people in our party After dinner we bought 4 drinks, three OTC d Cold medicines for $75.02 I hope it improves as the arrival day has been an experience of a hotel that should cost less than half what we are paying
